I wonder why the other ships have had omelet station in WJ but not Oasis.   I'm not a fan of MDR for breakfast.  Hopefully they will have soon.

I guess that guy from casino is going to be removed next stop!!

I have slot pulls organized for this week and next.  Todays was at noon and we had 119 people sign up in advance.  That is ALOT.  Because of the number of people scheduled, we had already decided to use the two Wheel of Fortune machines by the bar if we had more than 65 people pay.  I was kind of hoping not everyone would arrive as 119 might have been unmanageable 🙂

 

I set up shop in the bar area with my laptop and spreadsheet at 11AM and started Collecting $$.  We ended up having 78 participants including me. The buy in was $20 so we each did 4 $5 spins each.   Of course the machine my husband was manning was the one that hit the spin bonus 8 times.  My machine did not get it once, but my machine did get the biggest win.  

 

In the end we ended up with a whopping $4 more than we started with.  Everyone got their $20 back and the person with the biggest spin got the $4 extra.  The $20 made it an easy payout.  We did all our spins and everyone had their money back by 12:45.  It was a great time.  Unfortunately I was too busy to take pictures!!

What a great review! We are sailing on Oasis on the 16 Oct, both my wife and I have done quite a few cruises and this is our free one this year as my wife is prime. We had promised our eldest granddaughter (6) she could come with us last year (2 UK cruises after lockdown on Anthem) but she  could not come away in the end. Her mum our eldest daughter is also coming along as her husband said why don't you go as well. She did not hesitate so all booked on and cannot wait. We fly in to JFK on the Saturday and will stay in NY that night before travelling over to NJ for the cruise on the Sunday. Will keep following you as you work and play on Oasis. Have fun.

Spend the entire day after the slot pull in the Solarium listening to my audio book.  I may or not have dozed off at one point. It was glorious!!
 

We did the windjammer for dinner again tonight.  Fried chicken, beef brisket, creamed corn, a seafood cake and some pasta.  What a view!

Had this little cutie waiting for us in our cabin when we came back after dinner.  Our steward Bayu has been great. I wish we could take him with us when we switch cabins next week!

Just now seeing this thread.  Must have been a weird experience walking across the street from the ship to your condo, doing a little work from home, running a load of laundry, saying hi to the dog, and then walking back to the ship.  Enjoy the rest of your cruises!

I am guessing he got moved to cruise jail that night.  It was the last night of the cruise so he was getting booted the next morning either way.

It was very weird!  My son was happy though because hubby did some meal prep and made him some chicken Parms as meal prep while we were home 😂

Three Tote Bags

We got the champagne with berries and two totes last week.  The loyalty ambassador told me they no longer have towels and won’t have any through the end of last year.  She said she is also almost out of totes.

I am bummed the 340 pt totes aren’t these ones.  I love mine and it is starting to fall apart. I had gotten it on the Empress a few years ago as an apology from guest services do to some issues I had with a hat order on that sailing

I got this tote (in place of OOS beach towel) on Enchantment in March.

Like many things in life, it depends on how much time and money you have.  It takes about an hour to drive in each direction, although could be longer if you run into traffic.  I'd leave myself plenty of time for the return trip.  If there is a problem on the Beeline Expressway, there are not many alternate routes and you could get stuck in traffic.  A single day pass for a Disney park is also VERY expensive now...especially if you're only there for part of a day.  There are some free things that you can do, like Disney Springs with shops and restaurants.
