Labadee Vegan Meals

My SO is a vegan and is wondering if she has any choices available on this stop. I know they serve meals on the beach area but it's been a few years since we've been there. 

Any help?

There's bound to be some salad choice, but maybe not much more.

Vegan on Labadee May be hard. They usually do have corn and black beans & rice but who knows if butter has been added. Salads usually have cheese already added.

May be easier to head back to the ship for lunch

Mozzarella sticks

French fries

 

Chill Grill and Skippers Grill

Corn on the cob

Grilled onions

Grilled mushrooms

Hot pressed sandwich - Portobello & mozzarella sandwich

Country potato salad

Mixed greens salad

Caesar salad

Tomato cucumber salad

Fresh fruit

Tacos - Mexican rice and beans w/ corn or flour tortilla plus salsa bar

Also, a lot of those items are vegetarian but not vegan (no animal products).

Not to mention that you posted vegetarian items, not vegans.

Vegan is tough.  There's a lot more vegetarians than there are vegans.  Pasta and potato salad have mayonnaise based dressing which contains eggs.  Cheese is a big component.  There is fruit, salad, but I've never seen tofu on Labadee.

LOL.  That is true.  I barely notice whether something is vegan or vegetarian.  Heck, I made bacon and eggs for DH and I for dinner tonight.

We invited my cousin for dinner. My wife was making lasagna and chicken parm.

Then we hear that their kids are vegan , gluten free and whatever else and cant eat it . 

Dinner aint happening any time soon.  lol 

And my wife is a fabulous cook .

Gluten free is only healthier if you have celiac.  I can't imagine cooking for anyone who is all of those things.  So glad my boys and one DIL don't have any demands.  Other DIL doesn't eat beef or pork which makes it not that difficult to cook for her.  When we grill we do chicken along with burgers, sausage and she's happy.  No one in my family (siblings, parents, nieces and nephews, etc) are vegan or vegetarian fortunately.

Don't give him any false hope, fly poop is animal / insect based. A true vegan would never chow down on fly specs, they have problems justifying killing insects with their car windshields.
