Garyjames220 Posted July 24, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2022 Hi we are travelling with 18 month old twins on odyssey in sept does anyone think the crib will fit them both in at night if not any ideas for having one of them on the sofa bed and not falling out
Rare 1025cruise Posted July 24, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2022 Keep in mind the crib is most likely a pack and play. You would probably want one for each kid.

Barb Nahoumi Posted July 24, 2022 #5 Share Posted July 24, 2022 Our son was sleeping in a bed at that age, because he kept climbing out of his crib.

If packing space isn’t an issue pool noodles taped together would also work to create a bed rail.
topnole Posted July 24, 2022 #8 Share Posted July 24, 2022 We were in Allure in May with our then 15 month old. They provided the pack and play and it was very small. The smallest one I’ve seen. We are bringing our own next cruise (which is soon) because we know he won’t fit in theirs comfortably.

We also bought a portable air pump on Amazon that has usb charger. Worked great.
poocher Posted July 24, 2022 #10 Share Posted July 24, 2022 Can’t imagine 2 18 month olds fitting in 1 pack n play. I’d ask for extra duvets and make a bed on the floor for them. Can’t fall off the floor!

Rare cruiselvr04 Posted July 24, 2022 #12 Share Posted July 24, 2022 I'd second on bringing your own if you're not flying. They are not the cleanest or biggest. No way would 2 18 months fit in one. You can also turn the sofa or love seat around in the room, pushing it against the wall for a bed. I wouldn't try that too young for risk of entrapment but 18 months should be okay. We did it for a 2 year old. Also an idea is an inflatable bed with sides. They are smaller then a twin and our littles like sleeping in them. You do need floor space for that though. Rare cruiselvr04 Posted July 24, 2022 #13 Share Posted July 24, 2022 Opps I see you're on Odyssey. Those sofas I don't think would work for that as the backs may move. Someone else can comment.
Hensley3 Posted July 25, 2022 #14 Share Posted July 25, 2022 I imagine if you push the pack and play up tight beside the couch the side of the pack and play will act as a bed rail for the couch and use the couch as the other bed.
c-leg5 Posted July 25, 2022 #15 Share Posted July 25, 2022 We also turned the sofa round to the wall.
