Mini-bar included in drinks package?

I'm sure it has been discussed before but I can't easily find it by searching.....  Are the drinks available in the mini-bar covered by the drinks package????

Yes, it will be arranged (cabin steward doesn't do it).

The steward will arrange with the group that does 'Room Service' to have the contents removed; other than you speaking with the steward, you need not do anything.  If you're really 'hands on', contact Room Service directly although you are probably better off going through your steward for certainty.

Pre-covid, it was rare that anything was in the mini-bar any more...that might be different in suites. The only beverage we had seen in the room were large bottles of water and they have a tag on them indicating they aren't included.

 

Do note that with the Medallion system, you can have beverages delivered to your room and if you have a drinks package, this will be at no charge.

(Some people tip on this delivery and some don't.)

I believe the only mini bar set ups are for elite and suite guests which are complimentary whether you have drinks package or not.

Unless you are elite loyalty status or in a full suite the mini bar should be empty when you check into the cabin. If anything is there call room service to have items removed. The one or two large bottles of water are part of the cabin steward's responsibility.

OP didn't mean the elite/suite "mini bar". The correct terms for the original post should be "the cans & bottles of water" that are often in the cabin to "seed" your purchase of drinks.

As others noted, these don't automagically appear a lot anymore.
