I really don’t understand the need to eat while you are standing in front of a pile of food…inadvertently something will end up from the mouth back into the bowls… especially when you are standing right in front of it and chew

On the Jade last month it was Pepsi and still Pepsi on the Bliss.

The spaghetti carbonara was 10 times better than the specialty restaurant Giovanni’s on Royal and better than La Cucina on NCL Dawn.  Five forks up!

I have some no refundable credit so I picked up a bottle of cologne that’s on sale but still cost more than if I ordered it on Amazon and have it delivered … but hey I don’t have to pay taxes 😂

The rain the wind and the chill kept people away from the pool deck … a hot tub to myself !

I can take as many pool towels as I want .. take that Royal and I don’t have to worry about being charged for towels that I did not take!

I fondly remember our Sept cruise to Alaska back in 2010 because of the weather that looked like that. I loved it! I found it so soothing and cozy. I've been back to AK several times since and still think about sitting in the spa area on the Pearl, watching the rain and the whales.

It was very talking sitting out there by yourself and listening to the fog horn … very unique

Observation lounge offerings. They had the front section closed due to the private event for the HallMark Group?  It’s impressive that you can find something to eat any time you want …

They do not do take outs at the Local … somebody wants to order food at 6AM and take it with them to the excursion they booked  … and now the wife is upset and wants to know why they don’t allow food out … 🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐

Its been that way for awhile - at least three years.  Not supposed to take food off the ship unless it’s in its original store wrap anyway.

I can tell you that the casino is NOT busy at all, there is hardly any one in the smoking section of the casino and there are no dealers around dinner time when I walked by as there are no one there to play… even the non smoking casino had maybe a dozen people playing… such a contrast precovid and also Royal’s casino is busier than this but nothing can compare to Carnivals casino when it comes to being busy !

They want to order breakfast in a to go container like a restaurant so they can take it to their excursion because the excursion meeting was like 6am or something like that… like I always said you can’t do it all… so sometimes you have to just have coffee and a pastry if you don’t have time for a full breakfast because you have an excursion.  Although I do have to say that we get into some of these Alaska ports very very early and leave around noon/1 pm

You have to try the "pastelitos" in the observation lounge. Each day...a different flavor. Absolutely heavenly delicious. So light and yummy. My favorite, guava. Mmmm
