capriccio Posted October 14, 2022 #3 Share Posted October 14, 2022 This may be more helpful: check out 'Places to Stay' on the official Fort Lauderdale tourism website: www.sunny.org for hotels that offer shuttles to Port Everglades while you are waiting to get specific recommendations. Most shuttles charge per person. If you chose a hotel near the port and you have a party of more than 2 then Uber, Lyft or a taxi (sedan and van taxis charge the same fare) could be cheaper. So do the math!
Corby114 Posted October 14, 2022 #4 Share Posted October 14, 2022 Most hotels will provide free transportation from the airport to the hotel. They normally charge a fee for transportation from the hotel to the port. Uber, Lyft or a cab is the easiest way to get to the port.
RhondaC Posted October 15, 2022 #5 Share Posted October 15, 2022 The AC Fort Lauderdale Airport has a package that includes breakfast and a ride to the port!
Rare BoozinCroozin Posted October 16, 2022 #6 Share Posted October 16, 2022 Yes. Almost all of them

Those very near the airport (Dania Beach) and the 17th Street area of Fort Lauderdale are much more likely to offer a shuttle than those along Fort Lauderdale Beach or Las Olas Blvd (downtown). smurphy199 Posted October 16, 2022 #9 Share Posted October 16, 2022 If they do offer a free shuttle, they may have folded the cost into their nightly rate.
junglecat Posted October 18, 2022 #10 Share Posted October 18, 2022 We have found it cheaper and more convent to do Uber or Lyft. I say that because, in our experience, you have to wait until a large bus is full before they will take you. If you book your own transportation you can get there quicker and it's just you and your party.
