Just curious…. I thought we were supposed to get a discount on Balcony rooms with my point Level (Emerald).     I have priced our cruise using my

C&A account and without….  Same price.   Am I missing something???  Thank you, Debbie

Call Crown and Anchor. They’re very helpful.

C&A discounts are not always combinable with other discounts so if there is a sale going on right now the system is supposed to, I stress supposed to, give you the better discount of the two (or three depending on the discounts you qualify for).

We have not been given a C&A balcony discount for the last three cruises. There is always some type of credit/promotion/sale/discount that is better. We are D+, as if that really matters.

Thank you everyone.  I did call and received 25.00 from the email discount and would have received 50.00 if I didn’t use that.  Since it was paid in full, she wouldn’t credit me.  🤦🏻‍♀️

At what point did you enter your C&A #.  To get the C&A balcony discount you need to enter the number on the screen that prompts you with the number of passengers, you will see on the bottom right the following:

Apply a promo code and exclusive rates discounts

You should see the level of discount when you select a cabin #.

Unless it is not combinable with TA discounts, I have never encountered any discount that beats the D+ $250 balcony discount when booking directly with Royal..  Heck the discount is even combinable with the single supplement code of DP340.

Suites rarely get to take advantage of the balcony discount.  The instant savings or OBC offers for suites are usually greater than the $250 balcony discount

The poster, unless my eyes are deceiving me, did not mention Suites.

So far, I have never been denied the C&A balcony discount even in combination with the solo supplement promo (DP340), Casino coupon(s), & state resident (although I haven't seen one in a while).  However, the D+ balcony is reduced from $250 to $188 when using the solo supplement promo.

Also, not affected are the shareholders and on board booking OBCs when using the discounts.

They are not honoring our points on ICON as well.  Nothing changes when you put in your #.  It says, "you are getting the best price". MMMMMMMMM???

I know you are seasoned and if I'm out of line, I apologize.  At what point did you enter the C&A #.  If u log in, there's no recognition.  I must enter it at the # of passenger screen and below there's language to enter any promos and the discount(s) get reflected when you select a cabin

Years ago, once you logged in it recognized you for the discounts.

ALways do. I memorized my # long ago.  I also put in the other discounts on that page, BUt then it usually changes the price point on that same page after you enter it,  but the ICON doesn't. and then it shows you the "You are getting the best price" message.  Oh, and I stay logged in.  Other ships bookings it will actually show your C&A#at the top left of page.  But I always input it all in the discount page.

Interesting, noticed there are no port taxes & fees shown.  Is this normal or included in the base fare.

Thanks, did not know that.  Assume that these fees are part of the base fare.

Hello,

Taxes and Fees appear after you have chosen you cabin and are entering Primary Guest information.

Regards,

Cublet
