Everyone enjoy the control chaos today getting off the ship, line started for us on deck #7 casino down to six thru the atrium, past the library down to 4

Hmmm, is that the regular line, one booked on NCL shorex (priorities) or free for all ??

Curious minds like to know what time was the ship cleared by local officials and pax started down the gangway onto the pier, assumed facial recognition used to speed the exodus.

How long is the Broadway Unplugged show? If it is at 7pm on our cruise also, will I be able to still make it on time for our Taste reservation @ 8:30?

Same situation for Burn the Floor, we have our dining reservation for 8:00 @ Le Bistro, will we be able make the 9:30 Burn the Floor show?

You don't need a reservation for the Taste MDR so I would cancel it and just get there after the show. By that time of night, it won't be busy.

As far as LeBistro, that is another matter. Show reservations are released 10 minutes before it starts to the stand by line. In my experience a meal at LeBistro is not rushed. I would inform your server that you have the 9:30 show and they will try to speed it up but personally would either try to move up dinner or book the show on another night,

Unsure what time it started, ship arrived around 1610, we joined the line at 1630 which was moving, ship cleared announcement was heard by us about 15 minutes later near the conference room. The line looked bad but it was moving, scanned key cards out / in.

We were certainly not the first ones off, in fact an entire (big) bus was already full when we got to the meeting point about three or four minutes after this picture was taken. Time stamped 4:26 So maybe there was some confusion happening where you were waiting because lots of people were off well before that.

Looking at the dailies no live shows the night before and now three shows on one day?  They need to get their act together (pun intended) and offer shows more evenly.

My guess is they did that because of the 4pm arrival and then late all aboard(10pm) last night. I don't think we'll see that limited again.

Ok. So I like to keep it positive because...well, hey it is vacation; right?

But here is my criticism:

These are our tax on drink charges last evening after returning from PR and before we hit international waters again.

I knew they were going to happen, I am in no way surprised or annoyed about the actual charges.

What does bother me is that there was NOTHING telling passengers that there was going to be tax charges, nor did any of the various bartenders advise. No signs anywhere. If it's somewhere on yesterday's daily, I certainly couldnt find it.

It's like they are setting themselves up for a bunch of angry passengers going to guest services when they see these as many won't even know that it was tax and just think they have random charges.

hmmmm... I wonder if it will be the same in St Thomas? I don't remember them doing that in PR but it's been a couple of years.

You will incur taxes on drinks in any US territory on NCL. We were on RCCL and they eat the tax, but they also charge $1200 for 2 drink packages

Broadway Unplugged is just a little under an hour, so you'll be fine with your 8:30 reservation at Taste. Even if it did go long, which I highly doubt, reservations are held for 15 minutes, so you'd have up until 8:30.

Le Bistro and Burn the Floor will probably be a bit tighter. To be transparent, I haven't eaten at Le Bistro, nor have I seen Burn the Floor, but dining at specialty restaurants is typically a 90 - 120 minute affair. You can request faster service and probably receive it to make your show.

Interesting, guess it depends we’re you are on the ship, Haven bar tenders told us about the port tax and so did the bar tender at the Mojito Bar

A beer nuts / mix smacks not a thing anymore? I ask a bar tender last night if they have them and he looked at me like I had two heads

Anita offered us a snack mix on our cruise last week. It was mango something, though I didn't catch any taste of mango. You should be able to get something at the bar up there. I did see a mix at another bar, but cannot recall the location.

The last time we were on NCL they had the snack mix at the Atrium bar. I'm not sure if, when Covid hit, they discontinued that though. You could always take your own, but that might cause a stir in the bars if everyone starts asking for it, lol!

Oh...thank you for confirming. Bar snack mix is very important to me. Someone on Cruise Critic found out the company that makes it and I've ordered it a few times.

On our last cruise before the shut down this was one of the things we asked our butler to bring us.
