Vista - new bar offerings

Travel Weekly reports that Vista will introduce several new cocktail menus, alcoholic and nonalcoholic: the Casino Mixology Bar, two specialty beverage carts (Bubbly Bar will serve champagne cocktails and the Ultimate Bloody Mary Bar). The Aquamar Kitchen will focus its beverage selection on low and no-alcohol options.  Also noted, Moët & Chandon Champagne Experience, a three-course dinner that pairs vintages with dishes and the Dom Pérignon Experience, a six-course tasting menu Oceania introduced in 2019, part of the intimate dining venue Privée. https://www.travelweekly.com/Cruise-Travel/Oceania-reveals-new-bar-concepts-Vista

One of the Cruise Critic editors went on the cruise, I think on the Marina where they rolled out a lot of this new information. She did a live from thread with a lot of information on this. I hope she got a Rare sticker for doing it.

If they are going to have a Bubbly Bar, does that mean they will ditch the crappy Germain Champagne?

There was a thread on Regent back in 2018 where so many complained about the Germain Champagne that Jason O'Keefe posted on their site and said

We've been reading the online discussion about the champagne served on our ships.  To ensure a consistent guest experience across our fleet of ships, we will now serve Heidsieck champagne on board all ships by March 2019. We thank you all for your passion for Regent Seven Seas Cruises and appreciate your continued support.

 

I think they sent all they had to Oceania.  I love Champagne but I won't drink that stuff.

We concur, O needs to step up their quality in champagne. Can't wait to be onboard the new ship and try the dining/drinking venues .

Interesting that they are adding the beverage carts with what appears to be early in the day drinks. Currently and historically it's almost impossible to get a Mimosa or Bloody Mary early in the day on the Oceania ships.

They finally figured out a way to get rid of that crappy sparkling swill they can't even give away.  Marketing genius.
