Arvia officially joins the P&O fleet tomorrow at a handover ceremony in Germany.

She will then sail into Southampton on Sunday morning, 18 December. She is expected to have the usual fireboat escort up Southampton water. Times are approximately:

Portsmouth: 10:40am
Gosport/Ryde: 10:50am
Lee on Solent: 11am
Cowes: 11:10am
Calshot: 11:30am
Warsash: 11:35am
Hythe: 11:50am
Ocean Cruise Terminal: 12:00 noon

She aims to be berthed by 12:30pm, and will berth with her portside alongside (nose in).

She will then stay in Southampton until she departs on her maiden cruise at 6pm on Saturday 23 December.

Where no doubt she will be crawling with Vloggers and the like all fighting to show us what we are missing.

Love it when the Vloggers stay out of the picture and keep quiet.

I’m dreading some of these vlogger “couples” being on our cruise.  Some are cringeworthy some ok but the “look at me” type grate me.

imagine being in the Epicurean and one couple of chaps  I won’t mention would simply ruin the ambiance.

The only vloggers I dislike are those who are paid to be there, I automatically switch off because you cannot believe what they are saying, and one particular couple who said that the beach house food is the worst on land or sea.

Yes agree fully. Those types of vloggers are about the most irritating and pointless of space-wasters - and often so ingratiating with their desperate wannabe influencerisms. Just no, no, no.

I’d rather watch Ethel and Arthur from Bury with their dodgy camera work, dubious presentation skills but real, natural heart.

Thanks for posting the info for those that are interested and/or excited for her arrival. I'm not... 🌝

Not long now. We are getting quite excited. We hope the rain holds off so we can pop down and witness the arrival. If you can't see her arrive ' live ' there will no doubt be a few videos posted.

Same here not excited for its arrival, as unlikely to go on it.

Looking at the weather forecast it will arrive in some very wer and windy conditions, which may affect webcams.
