It tasted a lot different than the photo 🤣

it was good, only had snapper a few times so no expert. if I am going to critique the portion needed to be smaller just my opinion

But it was tasty and I would try it again

With the traditional limited 4 options with the Free App version of the menu  I like to mix it up

I think I would try it.  I usually don't take the Salmon offered on various menus because I like trying something new.

I didn't think I would like Lamb chops but when they offered grilled Lamb chops at the Samba Grill on Allure I learned that that I need to try lame again.

Introducing RCI originated documentation from their web site into an evolving thing (menus on ships, especially a specific ship) is not a good idea. Even the app info could be a bit off from what someone actually experiences on the ship, though generally much more accurate than some outdated online reference.

I totally agree.  But, it is the only reference one can find if one doesn't have the app on the phone.  Which I delete between cruises. AND, something as innocuous as posting a picture of a menu should not lead to this level of character assignation as some have shown.

Totally agree

With cruising so much, as to not get bored of the current menus it’s always good to venture outside the comfort zone and try the never hads 👍🏻
Our next cruise will be all fish for me 🐠

I don't care how old the menu is that I posted, it is CURRENTLY what Royal Caribbean is showing on their website as an example of their menu in Solarium Bistro and, again, that is what I posted.  And originally, my one and only post with the menus posted, I didn't say/type a word of my own.  DAMN

I was going to post the same thing.  I didn't see an easy way to post it so I went to the app.

Agree.  We had the UDP last cruise so we tried Samba Grill, 150cp and Giovannis all for the 1st time.  It was great.

And you can concur as we got on when you got off that the lamb was not cooked to order

or were we the first to experience the new experience ?

The lamb, salmon, snapper, and chicken mains were all set out buffet-style and not ordered through the waiter (first time we experienced that in SB).

Well prepared lamb is sublime.

I'm glad you're willing to try the snapper.  That's one of the benefits of cruising.  Don't like it, you won't starve.  You're a mere 5 minutes away from a Sorrento's slice.

Exactly but some refuse to see that.

See what?  What's the answer/alternative?  Not post in the social media discussion forum?  Never quote/cut&paste/whatever?  Have you ever posted a link to what is or should be an authoritative document?

I think I have a recent post about issues with conflicting or outdated information in supposedly authoritative pages/sites/documents.  So, if you know that happens, which you agreed with above, why would you resort to character assassination?

That’s 💯 how it is was week after you

For some that is so hard to comprehend that they can do it like that, go figure

SB on Symphony is great

Wonder is doing the same according to reviews. Actually, maybe started there?

LOL  Not going around in circles with you.  No idea what recent post you are talking about, could be one of the many that are deleted.  Not going looking at some stated post number that has likely changed due to deletions.  Would love to see where your character was assassinated though, I commented on an altered/partial quote that left off the relevant information.

Once again, NOTHING was altered.  And if you want to be lazy and uninformed, then don't enlighten yourself by looking around.

I really thought this board was better than this.  Like I said, I like to keep my cool and don't attack or character assassinate anybody.  It's hard though.  And I can't believe it is allowed.

There is a quote and multi-quote function that works quite well.

As far as the rest of your post, I won't comment on it as it is off topic and will likely get your post deleted as it is against community guidelines.

Only a few questions, what was the special nature of that specific cruise that provided you with a completely one off menu that has not been seen before or currently on Harmony? Was that her first cruise out of Lauderdale, or were you lucky enough to have hit the jackpot and were on the cruise where they were trialing an upscale menu. The only reason I ask is if that will eventually become the menu in the bistro, then it’s life as a complimentary venue will have come to an end.

I suppose you are now going to argue that this isn’t my lamb from my Harmony sailing in September in Bistro - because that was cooked to order definitely no buffet plating with this one.

Then clearly you have not eaten these dishes off the menu for dinner.they are very much dinner main options from Harmony.

I'm done arguing about this. You had what you had. Not sure how, since the only lamb on the menu when we sailed on Harmony in April, May September and October (all B2B's and we ate there at least 4 nights on each cruise) was the Lamb tagine, and the only $$ added mains were the Lobster and the Filet. I would have had the lamb every night if it was available on any of the 8 cruises we took on Harmony this year (12 actually, but the Bistro was not open at all for dinner our January and February B2Bs.)

Where Is your proof

Before you doubt and question others integrity and photographic proof.

Because you have a handful of regular cruisers here who certainly ate at the Bistro on Harmony and had the lamb and can prove it.

Maybe your memory is not so good these days.

Stubborn is always right, and no reasoning .

And how we had what we had was sailing on Harmony and visiting the Bistro.

Nothing special about it

Granted only twice on Harmony this year out of our 13 cruises in 2022, but who am I to gloat 😎

Next time you sail on Harmony at the Bistro, take a photo or two 😉

And I’m not arguing, just tying to prove to you that your wrong.

In a court of law, I’d already be cashing my settlement check 🤣

Merry Christmas to you 🎄

And hope your 2023 sailings you can remember and enjoy SB

Unfortunately, we have 10 of our 2023 cruises on Wonder, and the others are on Serenade, Grandeur, and Mariner. And, I don’t do food porn.
