Thank you @Daveywavey70!  I'm trying to keep up with the action!  😅  The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak! 🤣

I am always impressed by those who can do a live thread.  When I'm onboard I am busy taking in the ports, the ship (or a good afternoon nap), I don't know how people make the time to live post.

Your posts are appreciated and, of course, it should be secondary to enjoying yourself.  😀

I have to admit that this adventure has involved more post time than other adventures.   I need to resize photos to post and that requires more of an effort.   However,  I made a commitment here and I intend to honour it! 😁

Your dedication and the quality of your output deserve an award. Thank you very much and enjoy the remaining days of this cruise.

Yesterday we were in Kagoshima, Japan.  We did an excursion called Landscapes of Kagoshima.  We boarded buses and drove to the ferry where the buses boarded and we sailed to Sakurajima.

First stop was to an observation area allowing views of Mount Sakura.  Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate.  The observation area was interesting though.

Great pics Mysty. Thank you. We loved South Korea. What did you think of your tour?

Thank you @turtlemichael !  The Skywalk thing was a bust!  The Temple was awesome!  The tour was 4 hours and should have been 3.

We will be there next year.  Was the skywalk a bust because of the weather, or did that even matter? 😃Thanks.  Temple looks awesome.

We did that same tour last year on Muse.  The temple was wonderful, as were the coastal views.  You seem to have a lovely day for your visit.  Ours was on a holy day and was extremely crowded with local families.

The “sky walk” is simply a thick glass platform jutting out over the water. Five minutes looking at the view.  A few people walked the stairs down to the rocks.  The rest of us stood around chatting in the shade of the building across the road for half an hour!  Or was it longer than that?

As @Port Power has mentioned, the Skywalk was really not much of anything and we were there for an hour.  We enjoyed the Temple and could have done without the Skywalk.   Thank you for chiming in @Port Power !

I thought you might arrive in Hakodate for peak cherry blossom viewing and it looks like you certainly did. That view from the tower must be so beautiful.

And at the Convent you would have had a lot more colour than we did 15 days ago when maybe just the first cherry blossom bud had appeared.
