Was a little worried about Liberty, BUT...

Having sailed in the last year on Odyssey, Wonder, Freedom and Oasis I was a little worried about sailing on Liberty, where I had FOUR cruises planned. We did the first one two weeks ago and it was wonderful! Sure, there aren't sinks waiting for you in the Windjammer (but the Washy Washy girl was phenomenal), and I kind of missed Playmakers, but enjoyed the extra casino room... the screen by the pool doesn't work, but there are more hot tubs than there are on Freedom. All in all, it was a wonderful cruise and I'm looking forward to being on her again this weekend, and twice more in the next month! A weekend on a cruise sure beats a weekend at home!

Go in and flip the avatar photo (or a copy) you are using so that it is upside down. And save it. Try adding to post as your avatar photo and see if it posts right side up.

I was very surprised at Liberty, which was docked next to us while on Jewel last week in Nassau.

 

There were several pax openly smoking on their balcony, plus laundry hung out on a couple of them.  One complete with long clothes line.  

 

I guess anything goes on that ship.

I might not care about a laundry I cannot see but I would be irritated if I paid for a balcony only to have smoke blown in my face. I like to cruise for "fresh air".

Indeed, they were not even trying to hide it.  Wonder how bad it is when they are out to sea?  😮

Depends... for me, sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale instead of Miami is a huge plus. I'm on the ship practically a half hour after leaving my house. 🙂
