Did you talk with the casino manager much? We had a Host on Summit in 2020 named Alex, he was fantastic!! wondering if it could be same person? I think his girlfriend/wife also  worked in the casino….

I was wondering the same thing.   If it is the same Alex he was great!!!  I will be on the Edge next month and was hoping to see him there.

That's not correct. The onboard offers are decided by the host and on the last two cruises the ladies at the Future Bookings desk told me there are rarely any people on the list these days. They used to have like 30, nowadays its more like 10 or less. I saw the list.

And as far as the questions are concerned, a professional host does familiarize himself with the program. That's part of his job. However, I found most of the X/Fortunes hosts to be pushed into the job without any background or interest. They could just as well sit at a cash register. They would NEVER be employed as a host in Las Vegas. Not one of them, and I met most.

The Future Bookings agent on our recent cruise told us the BCC offer list arrived to them on day 1 of our cruise and was based on prior cruise play. Ours was a sold out cruise and the list was very short.

So you just go to Future Bookings desk and ask if you are 'on a list for BCC offers' for another cruise?  Sorry if I missed this detail.

Yes, generally the list is given to the Future Cruise the day after embarkation; I have visiting them twice on the Embarkation evening and they both told me to come back LATE tomorrow

Thanks ... I might have to pay them a visit next month even if just for curiosity.

If you are Sapphire, your drinks and wifi may or may not be loaded in advance, I have had it both ways.  One cruise it was already on my card (showed CALL) and an option when I set up wifi (select the casino coupon option).  Other cruises it was not on yet and I had to go to front desk to get it added.  Make sure your express pass shows Sapphire and then go to front desk and they add the drink package no problem and then you go to the internet guy, normally set up by the front desk on the first day, to get the wifi added (if it is not).  I suggest setting up your wifi account (create the log in), but not selecting a package if you don't see the casino coupon option, as in my experience the internet guy needs the account set up to add the casino wifi package for you.  Also, yes, you can upgrade to premium, either with the casino host (who I have heard may give you a discount, but I have never tried) or with any bartender.

Thank you so much for responding! My card on the app says Sapphire but not CALL, so I will check the physical card when I get on the ship and go to front desk if needed.

Yeah, my express pass has never said CALL.  I believe the hosts are supposed to input the drinks and wifi by the day before the cruise or so.  The one cruise, the host had inputted my drink package, but after cards were printed and put on the door, so all guest services had to do was print a new card.

Just remember ALL bookings that Future cruises does in conjunction with BCC include a $10/pp/day booking fee that's not waived. The fee is charged by Future Cruises. All BCC offers fulfilled via Future cruises are NOT the same offers that are given and booked directly by BCC. Whatsmore whatever the offer you qualify for cannot be upgraded by Future cruises;and upgrades must be handled by BCC AFTER you book whatever offer you have with Future cruises onboard. Those onboard offers are only good onboard;they will not necessarily be the same offers given directly by BCC. Seems like the biggest positive about the Future cruise/BCC offers are they are good for cruises up to one year from your current sailing. Offers directly from BCC don't always go out that far.

Future Cruise apparently can book anyone with an on board balcony comp into AQ class while the BCC AQ upgrade is based on play and many don't qualify

That wasn't our experience last week. We asked and they specifically said all upgrades have to be requested from BCC. We had a Concierge Class comped cabin.

I have been using URcomped for years utilizing my offers and play from multiple cruise lines. I like the flexibility where my play translates between multiple cruise lines.

I also have 3 x upcoming trips booked with them, all on Celebrity as far out as 2024 to Europe and based on my play qualify for Aqua Class and Always Included and paying only port fees/taxes.

Cheers,

Mike

I told my son to sign up for URComped. I did. He gets the higher and better offers of free cruises or $500 onboard credit from Carnival. I have the Constellation booked for November and the regular price for 3 guests is quite high. My grandson is counted as an adult. I see that URComped has that cruise on their site. I realize his offers are particular to him but I am curious how much of a discount Celebrity would offer. He plays the craps table exclusively. Thanks.

We play slots only, maybe $1500 over a week long cruise and generally sail with another couple with a similar play style.

We have been comped for infinite balconies on the Apex and Edge, as well as regular balconies on Reflection, Silhouette, Summit, etc.  Just taxes, fees and tips, for our last 9 cruises and we have 3 more booked.

Our Celebrity casino comped offers are way better than Royals, Carnival, MSC and NCL !!

2021 was a good year to book all those comps!  We still have some booked for 2024 that we got in 2021. I told my DH after covid that this will not happen again.  So we booked everything we could!  Glad we did.  Blue Chip offers are dwindling sin ce Celebrity is able to fill the ships.
