I will be on Royal in May. What production shows do they have? I suppose it's too much to hope they have one of the newer shows.

I am Elite, I understand one of my perks is priority dining reservations. Do I need to make reservations? I’m newly Elite.

Is anyone using the Enclave? Does my spa services discount perk apply to that?

Yes, you can make reservations early if you want them.  If you have problems with the application, then call Princess and someone can help you book your dining time.  I would do it as soon as possible.

I'm not OP, but I can chime in here. As of January, the core 3 were still Encore, Colors of the World, and The Secret Silk. Sweet Soul Music was the fourth as it was a 2-week cruise; pre-pandemic, I don't remember Sweet Soul Music being done on the 7-day cruises on Royal, but I can see the case where if one show's set doesn't work (namely The Secret Silk), Sweet Soul Music could easily take the place of that one since the set is very simple.

 

A new cast just joined Royal not too long ago, but since installing new shows take a lot of time, money, and manpower, I don't think new shows are going to be transferring on to older ships any time soon (but I could be wrong!)

I won’t be responding too much on this thread because I jumped on that Move Over Offer so quickly!  
We live locally and are retried and are back onboard at the end of the month .. so it was such an easy decision for us to make.

Absolutely!  Our group went yesterday and Silvija, the manager of Alfredo’s took care of us!  Wow .. she was so good and very personable.  We all ordered variations of what was on the menu.

I didn’t explain that very well in all my excitement.  I won’t be doing the March 2-12 cruise on the Royal Princess.  Busy packing up this morning after only 5 days.  However, I really only packed for  10 days so repacking was a breeze.  The seas turned a lot rougher last night but that was to be expected.  It’s rather cool and cloudy outside but as of now, no rain.

On the 10 day trip to Mexico in February our shows were Encore, The Secret Silk and Sweet Soul Music.

Thank you for the new menus!  DH likes a sweet White Zinfindel which is one of the cheapest wines (Beringer); however, I haven't noticed any Zins on any of the lists.  Have you noticed any?

In no particular order

Heres tonight’s menu, patters, juice bar and its price list, Lailen serving up Scooby Doo shots at Bellinis , officer board, Alfredo’s menu & our pizzas, Bellinis specialty menu and a photo of the red plus wines they have at the moment. Plus wines can and will change from day to day and sailing to sailing so keep that in mind. There’s a reason they do not list the vintage or winery.
 

 

Also find photos of the brand new printed bar menus. Lailen at Bellinis said this is what all the bars are now using.

I have a question for you... I see on a liquor list where it says:  Included with PRINCESS PREMIER and they have a $30 item on that menu (Johnny Walker Blue Label).   Is that item truly included with NO upcharge?   That is interested to me as I thought it was only up to $20 drinks... or would they charge a $10 upcharge.    Thanks in advance if you find out the answer to this!

Sorry I’m not on the ship now. While the newly printed menus may have some errors they have gotten the whole up charge situation sorted. The first 2 days I wasn’t getting billed the upcharge for my drinks that were over but by the 3rd day I was. A $30 beverage would be charged $10 plus 18% on Premier package.

I don’t think you have much to worry about the only difference from friends reports are that you just won’t get the fitness classes special desserts etc.  Any plus package should get you the same drinks no matter what you paid for it

We never met Roshawn and we went there three times.

Jackson was still there although, it looks as though Silvija was in charge. 

 

BTW, we looked for you in the port.  I kept asking everyone if their name was Allan.  One day we will actually meet in person.
