Miami Airport to Port Everglades

Any advice for the best way to get from Miami airport to the cruise port?

B taxi

C uber/lyft

D train

You can cab or shuttle. We have done both.

Cab or uber. Guessing you could also find private transfer on line.

Tri-Rail is easiest and cheapest. Train leaves right from the airport (okay, to be specific the Rental Car/Train hub which is a short 2 minute monorail ride from airport, all easily connected and signed well.). $5pp on train, then short $10 cab ride 

Shared shuttle like Go Airport, Super Shuttle, etc

Private transfer with meet and greet at baggage claim

Uber/Lyft

Princess transfer, if offered. 

Taxi (last last resort).

taxi's have a fixed price i think. Was cheaper then Uber when i was there last summer.

No more fixed/flat rates.  Taxi from MIA to FLL area hotels close to Port Everglades will run about $75-80+tip?  Uber should be closer to $50-60.  

 

For OP, the "best" way to get from MIA to Port Everglades is a stretch limo with a stocked bar! 😎

Thank you for all your helpful responses.  It turns out that the cruise offers a transfer from Miami to Port Everglades and I've booked that for this trip.
