Tried plugging in DP340 through on line site and does not appear to affect pricing. Does the 30% off all cruisers promo make this a worthless perk(?) or do I need to call in and speak with an agent?

You have to enter and press apply for the solo to take effect.  Sometimes I enter the code and forget to apply.  Otherwise, it's based on what Molly's explained.

Just made sure I selected a cruise outside of the restricted period and the only discount showing is the 30% off all cruisers. Did select and apply DP340 promo code but still not affecting fares, so I suppose the 30% off deal shows as a better fare and as long as this promo is out there the DP340 deal is a worthless perk(?)

I think you think it should show up like a texas resident discount. It changes my prices.

Are you clicking thru to prices. Maybe give us a example date and ship so we cant check and see what you are looking at. Idk if mine always show up. Sometimes my ta has to get rcl to reprice them.

The promo is combinable with the 30% off and the C&A balcony discount, albeit at a reduced amount.  I did a mock 10 day Explorer in early January '25 sailing from Miami and everything calculates accordingly.

OK Here is what I did for a mock booking on the Vision leaving on 10/31/2024.

I selected an inside  2V cabin on deck 7 and with and without using the DP340 code the discount was the same @ $729, though this is a little over a straight 30% off. I woulld appreciate any insight if I am missing anything, or if others have had to do just call and speak with someone.,

If, after entering the promo code, you have to go all the way through to the final pricing page. The final pricing will give you either the best of the current promo going that's allowed with DP340, OR DP340, and sometimes a hybrid of a reduced DP340 with the current promo.

I have also found the code is accepted, but the pricing is the same with or without it.  That means the current promo took precedence and was applied, because it was a larger discount.

RCCL is not a big fan of double-dipping on discounts.

Here is what I got with and without the code, about $200 more

When you say you got $729 are you sure you changed it to 1 pax. Dp340 only works for 1 pax solo. As you see above I'm getting higher for 1 pax.

For a solo in a non-studio cabin, DP340 lowers the single supplement to 150% vice 200%.  This is equivalent to 25% off.  If the sale is 30% off, the sale is a better deal.

As above with dp340 code I still got the discount. See example.

Did you include your C&A number on the Promo page?  It will accept the DP340 code, but it won't give the discount without the C&A number.

I come up with the correct pricing .  The base price for 2 before taxes is $1246 and when I put in DP340 the base price for 1 comes to $934.50 which is 75% of $1246.  Total solo price incl taxes comes to $1065.74.  Total price for 2 $1508.48

It's combinable with the 30% off.  When I book a balcony using the promo code, I get the lower fare, plus the 30% off and the C&A balcony discount of $188.  Normally the balcony discount is $250.

In addition, if you have any Casino $ towards a sail, it comes off the net pricing before any T&F.

I appreciate everyone's help and patience with this, I finally got the price molly361 got. My problem was that I did not go all of the way through the process of supplying passenger info just before booking and making deposit

Thanks again for the help!.

You will get the proper detailed pricing once you select a cabin.

I have had constant issues with this

code. I’ve email the exec office, customer service teams you name it. I’ve had multiple responses from various people. They haven’t got a clue - some say the code has been withdrawn, some say it’s being fixed, others tell me the only way to get the discount it to apply the code. Very frustrating, no one is taking it seriously and you have to be a very loyal member to have reached the stage where the benefit applies so they’re annoying their best customers!
