And my dad would always say if we don’t stoping screaming or crying he would give us something to scream and cry about. 😢 and more when we got home.

Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸

If I misbehaved in public, my mother had  the ability to hold my arm as if she was just keeping me close. What she was actually doing was pressing her fingers on the inside of my upper arm squeezing a nerve. She never, ever missed it. It hurt so badly I couldn’t even cry out in pain. She would say “if you behave I will let go.” All I could do was nod yes.Today, that would probably be considered child abuse -60+ years ago it wasn’t.

Captains Club generally sends this on first chic night.  I think Elite and above get them.

I think my cabin location is the culprit when it comes to the bad wifi speeds. I ended up using my cellphone and roaming provider for the last few days.

Step into your hallway and look at the ceiling.  See how far away one of these are

These are the wireless access point on the ship.

We have one right outside our cabin door.

I finally caught up on your review!  I am enjoying your review and pictures. We did the full transit on the Infinity in 2018 and loved it and it is still one of our favorites.

We are in Puerto Vallarta now and the weather has been 85 and sunny for a few weeks now 🙂

Thank you.

We will be stopping in Puerto Vallarta as our last stop before reaching Los Angeles.  I am open to any recommendations you have for activities in that port.  We’ve not been there for a very long time.

My mother used to pull my hair or threaten to hit me with her shoe by waving it at me.  I would be in jail today if I tried her tactics with my son.  Different times indeed.  Kids will still be kids though when they’re babies and toddlers; not much you can do but remove them from the room.  They do have the kids camp on board cruise ships so that’s an option for most parents.

When we stopped there on our cruise we did a sail excursion about 3 hrs with Vallarta adventures which we enjoyed .
We have since bought a condo here because we loved it here.We live here part time since retiring.

If you don’t have a lot of time I would just suggest to go down to the Malecon and look at the artwork and find a great restaurant on the beach with toes in the sand to have drinks and lunch.

I just realized I have not done any food porn all day!

Breakfast in Luminae was pretty standard for my DW — scrambled eggs

IMG_8973.thumb.jpeg.94c41616aa78ab9ac6e197f3329750b7.jpeg

As for me, I knew what to expect but I could not help myself - I ordered buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy

IMG_8974.thumb.jpeg.25746a79c5af00dd538181df0b0c6ff3.jpeg

(southern women are rilling in their graves) There really should be a law against this dish or at least name it something else.

Lunch was also in Luminae

My DW had the Coconut Lemongrass Soup

IMG_8988.thumb.jpeg.ff9c2feeaf20b5956ebced112adf1745.jpeg

and I ordered the chicken flatbread

IMG_8989.thumb.jpeg.748f842bfc7607bc51ff9976b352d575.jpeg

I wish someone had warned me that it was not served hot and had that much avocado:)

For our main dishes my DW had the Seared Tuna Steak

IMG_8991.thumb.jpeg.d56ef5ff7c82a32d7e48bfe5f44481a3.jpeg

and I had those delicious Lamb Chops

IMG_8992.thumb.jpeg.6a1ad47a5d96f4467f1cbbb5dc6b71fc.jpeg

For dessert we both ordered the Key Lime Pie from the MDR

IMG_8994.thumb.jpeg.aecc8d80dc4acbade52987cce334d625.jpeg

After lunch we went to see if our luck had changed for the better and it had not.

So before returning to the room we went to the OVC and grabbed a couple of slices

and I could not resist some takeout for the toom

BTW in case you did not see or here, we were joined by a pod of dolphins before lunch ..

I did manage to catch one in mid air.

They were a lot of fun to watch but very hard to catch on camera.

Interesting. We have gotten them on our last 4 cruises and none of them were on a suite.

I’m the minority here that thinks the “biscuits and gravy” is tasty. Glad to see it on Millennium menu. It has been removed from Beyond. The biscuits taste like fluffy pretzels to me without the dark skin.

I love biscuits and gravy but these are not the buttermilk biscuits nor gravy of my youth.

This is what sausage gravy should look like

They were not really following us as much as frolicking around.  Some were going in the direction of the ship and others were going every which way.

I took some video clips I need to go through and see if there are any good clips I can edit out and paste.

Oh yeah my husband tried to educate me why everyone else has strong opinions about these biscuits and gravy, because they ain’t biscuits and gravy.

That reminds me that his aunt still owes me her secret recipe for lasagna that was supposed to be my bridal shower gift. 🤣🤣🤣 I guess auntie just want to lure us to Pennsylvania every holiday with that layered noodles.

Are the AquaClass cocktails supposed to be on the healthy side?

We signed up for the Taj X for tomorrow at 7:30 pm.  We have a 7 hour and 45 minute shore excursion tomorrow morning at 0900 and want to have time to come back shower and catch our breath before dinner.

Tonight was the 2nd Evening Chic night of this cruise, two down, one to go.

We went to the Theater production show and enjoyed it.  Not amazing but not awful.  We would not skip it had we not seen it before but now having seen it, would not go to a repeat performance.
