Been to zeebruge many times before. Nothing for me there. Already been to Bruges before too.

We had already gone to Bruges when visiting family in the Netherlands & took a ship’s bus to the train to visit Ghent for the day which is a larger but still very walkable town similar to Bruges.

I contemplanted going to Ghent If you had to decide which one you liked better which would you say Ghent or Bruges?

Bruges…it’s a more compact town with a shorter journey to get there. It shows 15 km to Bruges (Brugge) and 67 km to Ghent.

I think it would be very nice to offer everyone onboard free internet for 24 hours so that people can cancel tours and book things in Zeebrugge.

We got 24 hour complimentary internet on Sky Princess when our major Iceland ports were cancelled.

Having lived in Belgium for over 3 years, the town of Bruges gets my highest recommendation followed by Ghent..  If you are interested in WWI don't miss Flanders and especially the town of Ypres.

  • Bluestone Group, a specialist construction company based in the UK, has won a contract from Princess Cruises to install Silverstream Air Lubrication System (ALS) on two cruise ships, Sky Princess and Enchanted Princess.

That explains why our Enchanted Princess cruise has two time adjustments in ports for July due to “engine maintenance”.
