However as it was a Med cruise with 3 x 7 day cruises, some people doing 7 days, some 14, some 21, that may have impacted the decision re balloon drop. More a matter of the waste materials. Modern balloons tend to be considered as plastic waste. Though they still use a lot of latex gloves which are considered the same.
