And, oh yes, another question for the OP and all. Do higher level suites include use of the mini fridge at no cost?  I’m doing a comparison of Celebrity Retreat with a couple of lux lines, and the info will help.

Unless there has been a recent change, signature suites and above have the free mini-bar

Joker, what is a signature suite? Is it a new name for Celebrity suite, or what? The reason I ask is that I get twice daily email ads from Celebrity, and I read them and search some that are of interest. In the Retreat category, I have never seen a signature suite. So I resorted to google and confirmed your info about beer and spirit inclusion, and found the square footage seemed to match Celebrity suites. That is why I ask.

No, Signature Suites are not Celebrity Suites.  Of the M and S class ships, only Reflection has Signature Suites.  They are by the Reflection Suite.

Not all of the self serve fridges in Retreat lounges have had beer or other alcoholic beverages.  You can certainly get what you want from the bartender in the lounge.  We were on an Edge sailing right after the restart and they were having problems with teens helping themselves to beer in the self serve fridge.  Yes teens were Retreat guests but parents weren't overseeing their actions.

It all depends what ship you are on.there are still beers stocked up in the big refrigerator on Reflection .

A lot of readers here didn’t know the Butler is no more service in the Sky Suites.

if you need anything to be delivered you just call on the phone for room services like other cabin and they will deliver.

You only get a butler if you are Celebrity Suite and above.

Everything is handled by your room attendant now is so called Retreat Host.

Sky suites is no different than in Concierge Class or Aqua Class to my opinion.

The different is you get a bigger room and access to Retreat Lounge.

They also change the Tote bags for Sky suites.

it seems the beige Tote bags are only for Celebrity suites and above.

I even have to question the Retreat Host how come I don’t get the Le Labo toiletries as a Zeniths member that were offered to me on other ship. He told me that was only for Upper Suites Class.Anyway he did made changes after I questioned him.It seems to me they are not well trained.

Is this new (tote bag charge?). I have a lot of them, and have never been charged.

In our experience in a  RS or PH you get 2 one litre bottles of the spirits you request plus beers, sodas, water etc. There is a bottle of champagne in your suite as you board. In our experience you do not have free miniature bottles or wrapped snacks although your butler will bring you almost any snack you request.

Beers, sodas etc are regularly replenished.

Some guests have reported they have asked and received bottles of wine too. Whilst this has never been a regular request by us on the odd occasion we have asked (when dining in suite) the response has been mixed. First time a bottle of our preferred wine was brought up no issue. Next cruise we were told the butler would bring it up but by the glass…As there were three of us this obviously simply made the butler’s delivery harder and he popped back up with refills! I write this simply to note different ships have different rules sometimes…

Yes it changed to the gray color like you get from Aqua or Concierge Class

oh, sorry I misread.  I thought you said charge. Ha-ha on me.

I think I have a mix of gray and beige. Maybe I'll go count.  According to the website I have 17 past cruises, of which all but 3 or 4 were in suites, mostly sky.  I think I also have a blue one or two.

Here is a question for the OP and anybody else who knows. What level of suite passengers (if any) gets priority embarkation/debarkation?

When in a RS or PH we are usually escorted on board. You check in at ‘Special Delivery’ where your luggage is taken, you are then taken to the next available agent for check in. By the time check in is complete a member of staff will be waiting to take you on board. How well this system works varies from port to port. Also some agents seem to want to ‘gather’ a few suite guests and take them together. If this is the case it is usually quicker to just board yourself….

Debarkation we simply tell the concierge what time we want to get off and meet them at that time in the Retreat Lounge. Sometimes we will be individually escorted off on other occasions it will be with a group.

We occasionally get escorted on board even in a sky suite.  We usually get escorted off by the concierge.

Signature Suites are only on the Reflection. They are on Deck 14 adjacent to the Sky Lounge. They’re shown in blue on this deck plan.

we are in a Sky Suite, and I was told nothing in the mini-fridge was free.

Also of note…you can’t grab a beer out of the big refrigerator in the Retreat Lounge. I used to snag two to drink later in my cabin. Now the Retreat Lounge refrigerator only has water, Club soda, and soft drinks.

This was the way it was on Millie in April/May.  When I asked I was told that they were removing alcoholic beverages from the refrigerator's in the Lounges across the fleet.  Apparently there were some issues with underage Retreat Guest consuming alcohol since the lounge is open 24/7 and not manned all the time.  At least that was what I was told when I asked about it.

Yes we were in a signature suite last week. Is upper suite so bad dedicated butler, all specialty restaurants included, all laundry including dry cleaning. Also has priority boarding and priority disembarkation which meant we we escorted personally on and off the ship.

Had a couple of minor issues but was very pleased with our experience.

Just curious - was noise from the sky lounge an issue?

For us access to Luminae is the number one reason for booking a SS, the Retreat lounge is #2.

On the M Class ships. The Penthouse Suite has a full size refrigerator in the pantry.

It was the same for us on the Equinox in June, but if the bartenders were working, they would bring beer from the back room for us. As long as we can get as much as we need of better bottled water from the coolers, we are fine. Paying $5,50 plus tip for a bottle of Evian which previously was free in our cabin is just ridiculous and not happening. Those nice Retreat tote bags will come in handy. It will be more like shopping at the 7-11.
