lorraine22 Posted October 17, 2023 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2023 Looking for the best hotel to stay the night before our cruise, which sails January 13, 2024 from Port Everglades (Ft. Lauderdale, FL).
Rare amandas friend Posted October 17, 2023 #2 Share Posted October 17, 2023 The Tru by Hilton is very close to both the airport and the cruise terminal

lola2013 Posted October 17, 2023 #4 Share Posted October 17, 2023 We like Hilton Gallery One on Sunrise. 15 minutes to the cruiseport. Unlike most other hotels, there is no resort fee.
buncosquad Posted October 17, 2023 #5 Share Posted October 17, 2023 We like the Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale. Great beach access and ocean views. A nice stay a few nights prior to any cruise from PE.
bikerunner Posted October 17, 2023 #6 Share Posted October 17, 2023 Really depends on how much you want to pay, how close you want to be to the Cruiseport etc. I like the Rennaissance as its right next door to the Cruiseport if i am flying in late the day before. But also have stayed at the four seasons, Ritz, W etc if I go a few days earlier.
lorraine22 Posted October 17, 2023 Author #7 Share Posted October 17, 2023 I was actually steering towards the Rennaissance. Thanks so much for the info!

Rare chemmo Posted October 17, 2023 #12 Share Posted October 17, 2023 We have tried many and always seem to find the Embassy Suites is the best option for a pre cruise stay…
Boston lab girl Posted October 17, 2023 #13 Share Posted October 17, 2023 We like the courtyard Marriott Fort Lauderdale beach. It’s right at the beach. It has a cruise and stay option. We like walking along the beach and seeing the cruise ships leave and head out to sea. When I am coming in late then it not important to be on the beach. We have stayed at the Renaissance is very convenient.
Ilovesailaway Posted October 18, 2023 #14 Share Posted October 18, 2023 Riverside Hotel. Corner balcony in the newer tower.
nhraformula00 Posted October 19, 2023 #15 Share Posted October 19, 2023 E.S. is the farthest from the best, as in one of the worst is Fort Lauderdale. All others in this area are better.

lorraine22 Posted October 22, 2023 Author #22 Share Posted October 22, 2023 We are on the Celebrity Apex. It sure seems like Riverside is the favorite. I booked at the Marriott Courtyard Airport/Cruise hotel but I am thinking of changing. If we change to Riverside, I'll let you know. Maybe we can meet up for a pre-cruise drink. George C Posted October 22, 2023 #23 Share Posted October 22, 2023 We used to do embassy suites but had terrible customer service last visit, so we switched to Hilton marina which we really enjoyed, love waking up and seeing our ship from the balcony.
lcpagejr Posted October 22, 2023 #24 Share Posted October 22, 2023 Consider the Bricknell area.... Minutes from Bayside and very close to Port. I have a hard time paying premium prices for a before cruise night . Got a great deal at Novotel Hotel...also Hampton Inn Hotel has attractive prices. Both of your suggestions are good but only if sailing from Miami.
