I started the day at the spa 07.45. 

Yes, the clock moved +1h during the night👍🏻

App was on 🕰️ time👍🏻

Mr was sleeping 💤 

 

I had the fire & ice pedicure. 

I prefer this pedicure. 

Cindy did excellent work and my nails look perfect 🤩 

 

When I was close to finishing my service in the spa, I went in the app🤓 Opened the blind, turned on some lights in the cabin…. 

This is your Wake-up message from your wife😜

 

Mr was awake in bed when I arrived back. 

So he jumped out and got ready for breakfast. 

 

We decided to try Captain’s Club breakfast in Tuscan, deck 3. 

It’s buffet style setup. 

Beverage is served by the table. 

 

 

We ordered coffee, tea and juice. 

The tea arrived pronto, juice a few minutes later…. But my double espresso took 35.mins. So we had finished breakfast. 

This coffee delay was not just us, it was several tables.

So some hiccups needs to be “oiled” 

 

Today is Captain Club Welcome Toast.

10.30 in Eden. 

I know the Zeniths are in a large number on this sailing. (I told you it was going to be a heavy loaded cruise off top-tier cruisers🤓🎖️🎖️🎖️) 

It’s just nice to attend🥰

 

Captain Matt welcomed everyone onboard, top cruiser was welcomed to the stage and a new couple was celebrating their reach of Zenith. 

Drinks were served and everything was as scheduled. 

 

Now it’s time to sit back and relax😂😂😂

Mr will probably be parked by the pool and I will go for a walk outside😎

I also am on this cruise.  While I don’t want to jump into our poster’s thread I just wanted to comment on the time change situation.  Really isn’t a stretch to call it a debacle.  In addition to the time change notice in the embarkation Celebrity Today which Norwaylady has posted the supposed time change was also posted (heavy black arrow indicating a time zone change) on the complete itinerary also in the initial Celebrity Today.  There were signs in elevators stating there would be a time zone change.  Acquaintances were told by their waiter in Eden that there would be a change. Yesterday morning our Luminae waiter told he asked caught in this and go up an hour early; he though there was a time zone change.  At 9:30 am they did a ship wide announcement to clarify the situation.  
 

And there is no time screen on the Edge phones.  And since a number of folks, including us, are having phone issues I wonder if it would have been accurate.

When we did one of our Arabia cruise earlier, they rerouted our itinerary a few days before departure due to the stress level in the area. So they pay attention. 

So we are not worried or concerned in any way! 
its “always” some sort of arguing going on in this region.😔😔😔

We sleep at night and are confident that this goes fine. 

Seems alot more than "arguing"  going on this time around.  But I doubt Celeb would put anyone on board  or its ship in Danger!.. Lots of protective power nearby. Safe travels!

Mr was parked on a sun lounger on deck 14. 

I went for my outdoor walk👣👣👣

It’s SO nice to have sun, warm temperature and ocean view on my walk😎

I walked for a good hour. 

The pool deck was packed. 

 

After my walking I was a bit hungry. 

So I asked if Mr wanted something for lunch…. But he was still full after breakfast. 

So I went to AquaSpa Café. 

I arrived around 13.30 and it was empty for almost everything.

Luckily it arrived some items I prefer. 

I had spinach beetroot salad, salmon mousse and caprese salad. 

 

After my luncheon Mr wanted to take a dip in the pool. So we took a scouting trip down to the pool around 14.30. 

Loungers available around the pool. 

So then we moved downstairs😎

Mr jumped straight into the pool🙃

 

 

At 15.30 I called it for the day😊

I went by OV on the way to get some coffee ☕️ 

As I rounded the corner for the stairs….

Typically the to-go cup was leaking…💦

It was dripping from the bottom. 

So fast running to the stateroom🌪️ to avoid spilling onto the carpets🌪️🌪️🌪️🤪

And my coffee fitted the glassware in the cabin perfect 👍🏻😅

 

(Mr asked when he arrived: Do you drink a gigantic Baylis coffee???😂😂) 

 

The canapés had arrived to our cabin.

I found it annoying that they don’t serve Apple juice at the Elite breakfast, only citrus fruit juices, which I cannot have due to the BP tablets that I take.

Some of the waiters were willing to go to Blu and get me some apple juice, others were not.😱(This was on Silhouette last month).

The Suez Canal sure sounds better than my root canal that is set for today.  I guess it was a good idea that I canceled a few of these cruises because I can still enjoy 2 from reading about your experiences.

Today is evening chic✨

Personally I miss formal nights. 

It’s easier for evening chic, but it’s very different what people wear and what they find “chic”. 

 

While I was preparing for evening chic, the phone called ☎️ 

(I checked it on arrival in the afternoon….

It did not have a tone and was “dead”🙈 I was just “finished” after a long day, so we said to ourselves. We will handle it tomorrow🙃 next morning, the phone had a tone😇😍👍🏻☎️👍🏻

some might remember we had no phone on Infinity for 10-days and we discovered it the last morning on turnaround day in our b2b😂😂😂 I found it strange that we had received 0 voicemails or anything, but didn’t check the phone…🙈) 

 

It was captain’s club🎖️⚓️

They thanked for the ✉️ letter. They will take care/prepare cards for next segment. 

She tanked us for letting them know in advance, so they had better time to take action👍🏻

So that’s a great message to receive🙃

Before the show Captain Costas and Captain Matt arrived on stage. 

Due to the 5.years inspection, Captain Costas is onboard until Athens🥰

So we are very safe⚓️

 

Both Captain Costas and Captain Matt are fun Greeks😂😂💙🤍💙

The senior officers was presented on the stage. 

 

Tonight’s preforming of the show was interrupted. They had a technical issue. So a minor artistic break💙🤍💙🙃

The show started again from the stopping point (you know the saying… the show must go on;) 

Great work from the Edge cast. 

It’s an upbeat song and aerial show.

When we were on Apex you couldn't get in unless you showed up 15-20 minutes in advance -  Luckily on Chic nights suites have reserved seating.

E class theaters are state of the art but not huge..We arrive 1/2 hr early for a good seat on the aisle..just in case it's too loud & we must exit.. (I will try out my new  noise reduction ear plugs on Ascent)  Enjoy a  cocktail or soda and people watch..

Yes, tonight is was almost packed at 19.00. On first night it was almost empty. 

On M and S class we always arrive around 18.40/45. (We don’t have reserved seats, but we do have our “preference” 

Today we arrived when they opened up 18.40 and it was starting to get full around 18.50.

the sound was decent level tonight and on first night. (Didn’t attend yesterday) 
I’m very “aware” of noise. So if we are seated in the wrong area it’s painful for me. 
I have noice cancelling plug-in I use when it’s too much for me. I can take away 16 or 21 decibel, depending on what pair I use. (They are custom made for my ears and are not visible in use)

Tonight we had booked a table in Normandie 20.45 in the app. 

Last time on Edge we really enjoyed Normandie the most. Due to the special menu and the crew preforming… 

So no pressure😂😂😂😂

 

Well the menu is very to our palette🥰

The decorations are “great gatsby”  we feel very “home”. 

 

Service tonight was by:

 

 

 

Mr went for the baked Brie and watermelon tomato salad for starters .

 

Our server said we had to do the coqcilles also😂

I went for the salmon tartare. 

 

All tasted excellent. (10million times better than the gravelax…. And they do have dill onboard🤪 So WHY deliver the most awfully gravelax ever?🙈) 

 

For main, we both had marmite. 

 

Really good and perfect for seafood lovers✨👍🏻

 

For dessert it was time for some ice cream😍 my favourite After eight was on tonight’s menu❤️unfortunately they had played El’cheapo for the minty flavour. So it was a bit “pale” in taste. 

 

Mr went for the Millefeuille. 

It’s a Napoleon style cake. Mr was very happy for it😍

 

After dinner we went to the Martini bar. We wanted a post dinner drink and listen to the live music❤️

what you have seems  very ideal..

 

mine are from.  Amazon..they are soft inserts and are supposed to let one hear conversation but block out loud sound..I am very sound sensitive..hoping this helps!

 

food looks and sounds very good!

Heard on that Social Media Site that Immigration was a disaster and they only had 3 agents to handle the whole ship.   Curios if they provided suites with priority.    They have often done that when we sailed through India.
