think it is CC not allow pics with more than 3mb

It's the photo size. I should probably know this, but are you an iPhone person or Android? If you can bring the photo size down to 1,600 px wide, that should fix things.

There's a difference between what I would order & what I would be served in all the restaurants on board....I avoid soybean & canola oils so that makes things difficult....maybe next cruise I will just grin & bear the consequences....NOT!

LaffnVegas, Can you tell me how strict they were with assigned boarding times?  Thanks.

I don’t think they were that strict with check in but they were with waiting to board if it was as before boarding started. They were checking your boarding pass and making sure you sat in the area you are assigned. The only difference that I saw was if you were 4 and 5 star 2 different reps stated yes if 4 or 5 star you could wait in the A Boarding Group.

Here’s what I did when my pictures from my photo album did not transfer to this CC message board…I took a screenshot of the album photo then copy & paste into ‘Reply’. Hopefully that works so we who follow your travel-log will get your wonderful pictures.

Good morning from the Koningsdam, we are now relaxing in a very busy Crows Nest , Toms reading and I am on my phone in Cc and FB sipping on Iced Coffee.

This morning we dined in the Main Dining Room there was a long line to get in at about 8:15 then suddenly they seated everyone quickly. Once in and service was excellent, food Hot and good.
After breakfast I wanted to get done walking in but still need to do more.
We also did some browsing through the shops and actually did not find much. Even the Effy store did not have the earrings I wanted.
Did buy a chain on the inch of gold 😂 don’t laugh I have actually had good luck with those chains and they can put a larger clasp on them so it is easier to get on. I have several lovely pendants from Effy but the chains that come with them are terrible.
Also in our walking about the ship I saw the Hotel Manager so we chatted with Ron, he remembered us from many years ago. Then Marion came over the Assistant HM and we both got hugs from her. She was excited to see us, we had not seen her in several years. We are going to try to meet up later in the cruise. So it kind of felt like old home week seeing Officers we have known for many years.

Today is basically a sea day although I think we are just slowly sailing in circles lol, since we don’t get to Ensenada till after 6 due to having too many ships in port. I doubt there will be anyone actually getting off at 6:30 at night.

Thanks going to try that. I wonder did CC recently change this, I have never had the problem before.

We arrived just after 10:30 and the signs were out for priority boarding.  The busses from the hotels got there just before we did so we had to follow those people into the terminal.  The check in process was easy and then we had to wait,  seated with the high priority group until about 11:45.  We were delayed in boarding because of the changeover from the charter cruise to our itinerary.  We were sitting near some President’s Club people and the staff was keeping them updated on the delay.  After the President’s Club was escorted aboard we followed!  Staterooms were ready, we went to the MDR for lunch at Noon  and our bags were in our room when we returned.

Currently onboard the Koningsdam!

We were last on the Koningsdam in February.  It was in dry dock in April.    An informal Meet and Greet was scheduled for the Crows Nest for 11:00 this morning in a room that no longer exists.  Who would have thought those rooms would go away, along with the big screen in the center forward viewing area.  OK, I was happy to see that huge screen go away.  During dry dock in April  the smaller, quiet rooms on the port side of the Crow’s Nest were converted with large tables into the “art studio” for coloring projects.  The “Coloring for Adults” participants filled the room and spilled out into the Crow’s Nest.

The Crow’s Nest was packed so I bought two canned waters and a Bloody Mary with my HIA and headed back to my wonderful balcony.  DH is happily watching the NFL on TV in our stateroom.

I enjoyed the Story of Mexican Art which was the EXC type program for the morning.  Catching Waves is this afternoon, both in the showroom.  The Holland America story is still the first night entertainment!

This cruise sold out very quickly within the last month.  Casino deals?  Maybe.

Time to settle in and try to find the quiet places!

Regarding the front & center Main Screen located in the Crows Nest on the Westerdam it was off-line and I missed the data for ship miles traveled and depth of water below the ship. Weather and itinerary were still displayed on Deck 3 wall screens (opposite the help desk) & in the cabin on-demand tv. OnBoard RCL Oasis of the Seas there was a Bridge viewing gallery.
Maybe the CrowsNest needed the extra space for all the activities happening (origami folding classes, Explorations, and the only coffee bar.
The Crow’s Nest is my favorite spot on the ship (with Lido a close second place) because of the best view, the coffee & bar, and for watching both pax & crew.  If only there was a way to turn down the music. image.thumb.jpeg.2643d286bf168ff0d7493b55660b484d.jpeg

"If only there was a way to turn down the music."   I agree!  I will be bringing ear plugs on our next cruise to try and remedy this situation.  I noticed a significant increase in volume in all venues during our two previous cruises in the last 12 months.

@LAFFNVEGAS I hope you don’t mind my comments above.  I was hoping to meet you and Terry at the informal Meet and Greet this a.m.  I was totally surprised by the changes in the Crow’s Nest!

We actually walked through there at that time but  hav to admit I kind of forgot. Although I think you may have been I. Our section for boarding. I found Terry because he had said in roll call what his shirt would be.
