New way for requesting Carnival shareholder obc now?

All they need is your name, email address, and proof of ownership and sail date, ship etc. NO giving your password to any accounts, no income or other information!

Since i downloaded the App over 36 hours ago and attached a doc showing shares, the App is still saying “profile completion 50%.” How long do I wait? What does that mean? And when do I give our Carnival cruise info? Still feeling it’s a whole lot of “hoops” to jump through.

I have not personally attempted to do this yet but I have been following this thread in Princess forum which has a lot of info on it.

Seriously it was not very user friendly although final success. For those of you who don't want to enter user name and password of your institution, just pick "fidelity" and then upload your statement . Then keep checking back on the app...

If the app is so great and secure, why do we need a "workaround" to submit a claim? Does having a "workaround" demonstrate the security of the app? Why aren't we told about the workaround prior to being referred to the app? If the end result is the same as the previous method (emailing redacted statement) why are they requiring the app?

Carnival is not paying their employees to do the work.

Some are so resistant to any change. Once I tried the new system, I liked it. I didn't provide any account information and uploaded a redacted statement. I was approved and they keep a copy of it. No need for me to keep uploading. I have applied for 3 shareholder credits across two Carnival brands with the one statement.

Not anything to do with change for me. I started the process 2 weeks ago for next cruise and still 'in process". says would be notified if 5 business days and it has been over 10 business days so far. I had the credit applied in 2 or 3 days with the old way.

Agree, did what was requested of me but have been only processed to 50%, what does that even mean, guess I’ll take my statement with me on next cruise if not approved by then, what else can I do?

You will get no where doing that. If you don't have it applied before boarding, you are

I did our OBC for our upsoming cruise on the Jubilee on 2/10 and got the credit confirmation e-mail the same day. Just send them your names on your booking, booking #, sail date and name of the ship along woth an attached copy of your brokerage  statement with the account # blacked out.

Easy Peezey!

So Stockperks denies the stockholder OBC because obc already appiled to our booking. The OBC that is showing on my booking is part of the promotion that I booked under, not any kind of casino booking bc we never go in the casino except to get the platinum free play. I sent an email to hello@stockperks.com but this is just a waste.

We did not have any issues using the app for submission or receiving our OBO. You should blackout your account number, other stocks you own, the value of your account, etc. They only need to see the CCL stock you own and the account owner's name. Our stock ownership OBC was added to our OBC that we received as part of a promotion when we purchased the cruise.

My update/timeline - 1) downloaded App and submitted proof of shares by attaching a pic on Friday January 12th

2) today Tuesday January 16 I received email saying my Manual Brokerage Statement was Processed and instructed me to go to App to “explore and redeem perks”

So I did that, searched around a little bit, came upon page that asks for Cruise info, and completed that.
Now it is wait and see again.

Stockperks doesn't approve or deny OBC. They just accept or reject ownership of the stock and forward that onto the cruise line. I think you need to contact Carnival to verify what the OBC is for.

You should get an email that they forwarded the info onto Carnival and then another one when Carnival responds.

I just did the process for the first time. No issues downloading and registering for the app. I linked my account and submitted. Interested to see  how long it takes. I have promotion OBC so I assume no issues adding this OBC to my account.
