Who else dresses up their towel animals?

I’m not a lover of the towel beasts, but much to the wife’s dismay, I have been known to add embellishments.  
 

I favor finding red pieces from the various paper items to make tongues, eyelashes, cigarette-like items and wink eyes.

I hide my sunglasses, jewelry, hats and such so the cabin attendant can not use them on the towel things. I wish they would stop spending time making those since they have so many cabins now.

I wish! No animals at all on an 8 night cruise on the Jewel in March. One night we got a teeny little boat and one night something I couldn’t begin to guess what it was.

I hope they don't get rid of these.  I can bring my own darn chocolates, but I can't bring towel animals.   Well, if I did, that would be insane.

"No towel animals" is one of the first things we say to our cabin steward when we meet him.

We don't dress them up...but I do make my own.  Much to the laughter, surprise, and sometimes horror (we were on for Halloween) of the cabin attendant. 😄

I ask steward to not take and at the end of the cruise I line them all up and take a photo

Next time you cruise look under the bed, you will see a bag of towels 

 

Been our experience on every cruise we have taken this year, and that’s a few in many different ships  (even in the bag under the bed was a smaller bag with accessories)

On our most recent short 4 night cruise we had an animal for the last 3 nights 

We don’t dress up our pets at home, let alone a towel animal 🦒

Im going to put my trust in RC to provide clean towels whether they came out of a bag or off a cart in the hallway. They may be replacing the towels in your bathroom that they got from the bag also .

How would you ever know ?

Who knows how long those have been there? 

Probably not long if they're using them to make towel animals. Actually sounds like a good way to do it, so they don't have to carry around a bunch of extra towels each day.

oh dear now something else to think about.   I would think it would be a lot of work to separate towel just for animals.  I hope they clean it all the same.

I wouldnt worry about it. RC isnt going to put anyone at risk . 

I would think everything is put through scalding hot water in those industrial washing machines.

Not much bacteria would survive that.

okay  I guess no ones really knows but I unfolded all mine after I took photos and they were all clean and smelled good.

I'm so over towel animals that from now on I'm going to tell the cabin attendant not to leave any.
