Zuiderdam and Eurodam in Port Everglades on January 3, 2023

A particularly momentus sailaway….ms Zuiderdam and will be at pier 26 from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm, and she is leaving on a 128 day Grand World Voyage!  How exciting for those sailing on her!  ms Eurodam will be at pier 19 from 5:30 pm to 5:00 pm, and she is sailing on a 10 day Western Caribbean cruise.

 

 

 

Also in port is Celebrity Equinox at pier 25 (6:00 am – 4:00 pm)

 

Due to Zuidy embarking on the GWV, her departure may be later.

I will be surprised if Zuidy leaves before 7 pm. Just loading the luggage is very time-consuming.

When I disembarked the Zuiderdam this morning you should have seen the mountains and mountains of luggage getting ready to be loaded on the ship. Looked like luggage that had been brought there through luggage forward/direct or whatever it is called. That was at 0930.

We will arrive early tomorrow after all the hoopla for the World Cruise is over.

There is a couple who boarded in Montreal in September and who are staying until February, nearly 6 months!
