cruisin from florida Posted February 26 #1 Share Posted February 26 Is this in a lounge, or are drinks loaded on your card to use during that time. Does the lounge get really crowded?
bikerunner Posted February 26 #2 Share Posted February 26 Its in most of the lounges, not one specific spot, a few bars do not have the happy hour for elites, mainly the World Class Bar and Restaurants also do not. All info will be in your room for your level of benefits that you qualify for.
SbbquilterUT Posted February 26 #3 Share Posted February 26 Also, be sure to look for the list of activities you are invited to, should be in the stack of papers waiting for you in your cabin. We have had at least one event in a lounge space on each cruise recently. We tend to find where we want to enjoy a pre-dinner drink, get to know the waiters (a tip is appreciated).
STLCRUISIN Posted February 26 #4 Share Posted February 26 Just got off the Constellation last Thursday after a 12-night cruise. Elite Happy Hour lounge was on 3 evenings in the Reflections Lounge on deck 11. Otherwise, you can go to any bar during the 12 nights from 5-7. Although we could have we didn't make use of the lounge.

Rare NutsAboutGolf Posted February 26 #6 Share Posted February 26 You receive drinks at most bars (World Bar and craft social have been excluded) except for embarkation day There are ADDITIONAL happy hour events which will be listed in your stateroom @cruisestitch, this is the first time I've seen the Martini bar excluded

cruisin from florida Posted February 26 Author #8 Share Posted February 26 Thanks all! Is there a limited number of complementary drinks during cocktail hour? (thinking back to when Royal put 3 drinks on the card to use during happy hour, before Covid)

If this applies to each ship, this should be info we are provided prior to boarding. The luncheon is 12:00 to 1:30 and if this literature is in your cabin you may not even get it before 1:30! Now RCI allows the Diamond (4), Diamond+ (5) and Pennical (6) everyday at any time at any bar including MDR, showroom, Specialty Restaurants. There's a specific menu with the types of wines, alcohol, beers, and non alcoholic drinks that you can get during the HH. Unlike Royal, you cannot get something that's not on the list and pay the difference. So for example, there are no frozen drinks that's part of the HH ( so no frozen Pina colada).

Oxo Posted February 27 #22 Share Posted February 27 Typical confusion by Celebrity! This way we never know what to do or get. Cheerleaders will defend this. No change, we love it the way it is. LOL

We've got at least 4 instances as the MDR embarkation lunch comes with the Premium Access package. Does NOT come with casino/BCC status. Can anyone find a 5th instance? Luckily we were on line early enough and was within the first 40 people to enter the dining room. When we finished and walked out of the dining room the line was crazy long. Honestly I wouldn't wait on that line. Edit: NCL opens a MDR for all guests on embarkation day for lunch. Celebrity should do the same.
