You are correct...that's an old Abbott and Costello routine. But the "nyuk, nyuk, nyuk" brought back memories of three other guys.

Right, the 3 Stooges, Moe. Larry, and Curly. But I think you can still catch them on some retro tv stations while I don't know if young folks would have heard that bit from Abbot and Costello.

But who said it first? First time for me was the Three Stooges, then Abbott and Costello and then Lucy. Growing up I didn't have a choice watching TV, a much simpler time.

Back to the cruise, did they start boarding yet?

I could be wrong, but I do believe Abbot and Costello said it first. And of course they also said "Who is on first", a recording of which is in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.

Everyone sitting (thank goodness) with boarding passes but no one has been called as of 1:29pm. Lots of little "snags" going on and NO communication. Blood sugar getting low. That is all...

Haven and ADA folks going on now.

Coney Island out in Brooklyn - anyone out there watching the Prima ... used to be able to watch ships from Shore Road near the VZBridge.  Oh dear, looking more than 9:30 AM before she can dock - not pretty.  Folks, join us at the Hudson for dinner on the Hudson, we are definitely going to be there after 6 PM and not moving, "no way ... Jose" forgetaboutit.

All my (ours) bags are packed and ready to go ... not leaving, on a jet plane 😀 - the fifth bag belongs to sister-in-law.

That's quite generous of to allow niece to bring the Eddie Bauer bag.

Coming toward & passing the Meatpacking District ... "The Vessel" ahead, starboard side. She is on the Hudson River now, another 30 minutes ... hopefully, docked and have the gangways set up for disembarkation.

Ship livecam time is set to Iceland already ?

See the newest NCL Class out for test ride cloaked in wrap to disguise.

Also see on live time is 17:57.  Should you not be leaving soon?  At least drink tax should end soon.

What was this in reference to?

She is an older ship and not our fav of the MSC fleet

The YC product is excellent, though we prefer other ships than Divinia. Some love her because she is small and an older style.

We did our first MSC YC for DD's high school grad trip.  Took their friends.  We had a great time.

Been on twice.  Then Mera like five times since restart.

Reference is we had running gag between us that every announcement started out with. ...'THE BEAUTIFUL MSC DIVINIA" like a wrestling intro.

We also met the great Arthur at dinner and while pondering menu he told everyone that app was going to be two lobsters per person and two lobsters for dinner.  All did that except I don't like lobster and did filets.

Sorry MKing for hijack.  Back to shoes.

Please share video of you in van with vest on.  Don't stop at any grocery stores, they'll think you placed meat in vest thus delaying embarkation.

Facial recognition starts inside the pier at security checkpoint, before going thru X-Ray screening.  Check in was very quick when we got there at the priority counters for Ambassadors & Diamonds, Sapphire too - I think. Boarding started already, calling Group 15+ (ours were #9)

We boarded via Fwd gangway, a fairly short walk. Issues with SIL keycard & stalled for 20 minutes. Stopped at CruiseNext desk to do the signing up. Hudson MDR extended hours for lunch, and heading their next.

Late lunch in the Hudson MDR on the Hudson River, already 3:45 PM and folks still being seated.  Meanwhile, crews preparing tables for dinner 😬 in less than 2 hours.

Loved the view from the Hudson MDR. Not that any table is far from a window, but we requested one by a window on our anniversary (sea day between Norway and Iceland) since we try to go out to eat at a restaurant by water. And they seated us right by one of the windows.  😊

Mandatory safety drills done over PA again, looks like everything on the pier below is wrapping up.  Maybe we will sail sooner than later.

Luggage drop onboard earlier, if only everyone knew

What, people are hungry and going to the buffet for dinner already.  It's freestyle dining, huh. 😁😋🫢

Horn being blasted, wow - we are going. Getting underway, I am impressed at the speed.  Most luggage already disappeared, some unclaimed outside along the corridor.

Yes, sideways moving and backing out - nice job.

Station Zebra likely go into limited or Semi-Live mode over next 30 hours, until we upgrade to unlimited WiFi.

VZB ahead and expect signals to fade, will play by ears.  No reservation for dinner tonight, planning to go around 8 PM.
