And according to some posters here, you can ad-lib the door hangers and order “off the menu”. My preference is the MDR, but my wife prefers the IC. That generally means I get two breakfasts. Rare iamaqt2 Posted June 12 #10 Share Posted June 12 MDR will be 1.5 hours guaranteed. Port days just do buffet or IC.

It depends on many variables, some of which are under your control. I come later (8:30) and don’t order poached eggs if I want a quicker meal.

We always sit at a table for two. We have yet to have a breakfast that lasted an hour or more. We are usually in and out in 45 minutes. Timing probably depends on the ship.

If you do find yourself in the buffet at breakfast time you may want to give the oatmeal a try because it’s really good.

I put "Bacon x 4" thinking I would get 4 strips of bacon. Nope. Don't get me wrong - I love bacon - but that was a LOT of bacon and Princess isn't known for providing the best bacon.

Senga Posted July 9 #24 Share Posted July 9 Until our Enchanted Princess Mediterranean cruise last September I was always on countdown to “baconfest”! However, the bacon was horrible. Same on our Caribbean Princess cruise last month. 😢

I remember now that you can order multiples of just about anything! You might enjoy the egg bites they have at the International Cafe. My DH is on a low carb diet to manage his diabetes, and these are a favorite for him. They are basically like little quiche without the crust. That was his go to breakfast everyday on our recent Sky Princess cruise.
