bavrail18 Posted June 14 #1 Share Posted June 14 Looks like she has left Freeport and is on the way to Tampa. Looking forward to getting on her on Sunday. We were on her in May and are curious to see what got done.
leaveitallbehind Posted June 14 #2 Share Posted June 14 (edited) It most likely was a standard maintenance dry dock which would also include carpet, paint, perhaps some furniture replacement, routine repairs, and other like items. But I doubt beyond that anything significant was done or added to the ship. Edited June 14 by leaveitallbehind

RFerrington Posted June 15 #8 Share Posted June 15 I had no idea that she was even in dry dock ! That's great news. We will be on EN for the first time next week (6-22) and then again on a B2B 1-23 and 1-27. I'm sure that at least she got a new paint job, which will help a lot I'm sure. I doubt much else got done aside from routine maintenance. That's ok...will just be happy to finally sail on her !

Will you post some thoughts please? We last sailed her when she sailed out of Baltimore and also did the repo out of Baltimore (to Florida). Touch up to certain areas maybe, but I don't think a standard maintenance drydock would allow for a full ship paint job. I'm sure you will let us know. bavrail18 Posted June 17 Author #13 Share Posted June 17 Currently on Enchantment. Mostly mechanical work was done. They also replaced some carpeting. Big screen by pool is fixed. No new paint job. Overall she is in good shape for a ship of her age. Cabins are showing wear, but that is to be expected. The crew is just fantastic. 2

edrussell Posted July 6 #15 Share Posted July 6 Our first ever cruise was onboard EN and she will always hold a special place in our hearts. In all of our cruises since we still comment often on how the crew onboard EN have been unmatched for us. We've met a few on other ships that have since moved on and even they say how much they enjoyed their contracts onboard her. It may not have all the bells and whistles of the newest ships but for us that was just fine. Very happy to hear the Lido screen is now fixed as well.
