OhioTony Posted June 16 #1 Share Posted June 16 We will be on the older Celebrity Infinity for a 9 day Greece Cruise on Halloween. 👻 Do they usually hold any holiday events for this? Should we bring some fun costumes? also This is our 1st time with cruising with Celebrity. Does Celebrity usually have any themed party nights? (such as white dress up, or scarlet dress up nights) Thanks for any reply in advance! 😉👉
dcbiker97 Posted June 16 #2 Share Posted June 16 I can answer the 2nd part. Celebrity doesn't do theme nights like that. Occasionally they will hold a white party out on deck for the full moon, but it's not standard across the fleet.

They decorated the entire atrium area, Martini Bar, il Bacio, in the MDR and I think Eden. MANY were in costume on Halloween night and they had a huge party.

Rare Jim_Iain Posted June 16 #5 Share Posted June 16 On Halloween they often also have a Parade of those that dressed up. A best costume award is made.

Halloween may not be (ok it isn't) be as big in Europe as in the US but the ship will celebrate it. Always a great night, some passengers bring costumes others make their own from what's available.

I've been in Europe on Halloween and the pictures represented what the decorations and costumes were like. I didn't hear any complaints from Europeans. Same is true with Thanksgiving. While a U.S. Holiday they still decorate for it and usually have a Thanksgiving Dinner Choice both at the Buffet for Lunch as well as an Entree in the Dining Rooms. We have probably been on Thanksgiving cruise annually for 20+ years all over the world. Edited June 17 by Jim_Iain
