Another interesting observation from that is the notation is for Icon 3…so where is Icon of the Seas heading once Icon 3 launches?

October shows Icon 1 (at least, Icon listed with no "Icon 3" note) visiting twice. Then not again through the end of the schedule

We must be due for a big ship in Asia by then.
Sydney is just about soon to open a L.N.G facility. Singapore,Shanghai and even New Zealand has ship L.N.G.

What is your guess regarding the first cruise of Icon III at spring 2026 ?

Do you think that the ship will sail from europe in summer 2026?

As its look like Harmony will be in Europe at the same time.

Given the information we have so far my guess is Icon III will do sailings from Barcelona beginning in May 2026.

it will then cross the Atlantic and replace Icon of the Seas alternating E/W itineraries and Icon of the Seas will move to Galveston beginning fall 2026.

It was never happen that 2 mega ships were in same summer in Europe.

If Harmony and Icon III will do sailing from Barcelona on the same time it will be very unusual.

With seven Oasis and three Icon class ships in the fleet by 2027 needing dry dock every 5 years, there's bound to be at least two of them in Med every year - that's assuming RCI doesn't find/use a dry dock facility in the Americas.

I thought I read somewhere that they are building a huge dry dock spot in the Bahamas that can accommodate the Oasis/Icon class or was that something else and I’m mistaken?

There was one but there was an accident that took it out of play. I think they kind of dropped an Oasis class ship. If I remember right, @twangster reported it.

Maybe they're fixing it or building a new one to replace it?

That dry dock technically wasn't big enough for an Oasis class ship, but they did repairs anyway with cofferdams. I'm not sure if they ever concluded that contributed to the incident or if it would have happened even during a traditional dry dock.

So if Indy is in the Caribbean in the summer of 26 what is the speculation on what is sailing out of Southhampton that summer... Liberty?

Mexico was supposed to get a new shipyard.  If I recall correctly Fincantieri was involved.

Then the world event happened.  I'm not sure of the status of the new shipyard since.

Yup. The Even Older Than Independence Ship to ensure they capture the UK market …

Dont talk about the Crane Incident on Oasis @FionaMG...it may be 5 years ago but it is still raw for some of us! My big birthday plans were crushed(get it!) with 3 weeks to go!  Lol

The status must not be positive since there's zilch out there since that was announced in 2020.

I thought I read somewhere that Liberty is finally going to get her amplification prior to the European Summer 2026 season so that will be an improvement over the Independence I’m sure!

How much of an ‘amplification’ this is going to be though is yet to be seen. We’ll know more when Allure is done next year, but something’s telling me Jason’s tight pocket will have an impact.

It’s still a freedom class though, which is yet again another year with a reduction in capacity for the UK market.

What a waste. Mega ships are great for transatlantic and Caribbean cruises but so limited in where they can go in the Mediterranean. Maybe RC can follow sister Celebrity’s example and keep some smaller ships in the Mediterranean year round. There’s more of a market than people would think.

It’s still Freedom class which is totally unsuitable for English weather !!! Give me Vision or Radiance any day !

Consider the source though.   The same person promised Icon would visit the UK before coming to America.
