My husband and I are looking at Alaska in 2010. Possibly another couple may go too. I'm fine for September and prefer RT to Vancouver (my son lives there). Let us know when pricing comes out

Crazies cruising Alaska, how much fun that will be after we all get to meet each other this September on our first cruise. Wooohooo and add all these other cruisers in and we will have an awesome time.

OP, have you decided if you're going to try to get prices for a RT via Vancouver or a one way? Or are you going to just throw them both out there and see what comes back?

We are pricing R/T out of Vancouver..The first one available in Sept..The prices are usually lower for this cruise and the airfare is cheaper..

WELLLLLLL...Here are a few of Sitka.. Unfortunately The R/T cruise does not stop there..Sitka is a lovely quaint town..Not commercialized like the other ports..

No not really, 09 of 09 is our first crzies cruise, so after that it's up to what's available at a great price. But me and chevelle are not fortunate enough to be able to do more than one cruise a year. Just not financially viable for us.

Come on Six and Chevelle, go to Alaska with us. Already some crazies opting for Alaska. I can't go on but one cruise either but I can't pass up Alaska. Was there last year and I can only say WOW, I loved it.

We saw3 bears that day. We spotted this one as we came around a curve in the road. He was just walking down the center line before he walked off to the side. We were all grabbing for our cameras!

I would recommend renting a car in Skagway to anyone who enjoys just getting out of town. A roundtrip drive to Wonder Lake or Carcross is wonderful way to spend the day :D
