  1. I assume you are referring to cruise cash and bar cash? They aren't debit cards. They are applied electronically to your account as on board credit, and you will be able to see that they are on your account. When you spend money on the ship (everything is paid for with your sail and sign card, which is also your room key), it will deduct from your on board credit before your selected method of payment. You can use cruise cash for anything. You can use bar cash only at the bar, not for anything else. Edited to add: bar cash can be used at the coffee shop too, I think.
  2. I just gamed the system! I won 500 points yesterday morning on the spin wheel. Then, I was up late last night past midnight, and my game refreshed, and I was able to play the spin game, with a 1000 point win! Then, today, with the scratch game replacing the spin game, I was able to play that even though technically I already played today. And, I won another 500 points!
  3. Yesterday I tried adding it to my cart to see what the price would be, but I couldn't add it to my cart. Today It's completely gone from the list of internet plans. Apparently it wasn't ready for release, and IT messed up. Big surprise there.
  4. The description of the tour is vague on this point: Good to Know: Children 5 and under are free! Tour is at your own leisure. You will need to take a taxi and present their ticket once at the location. But, the in the reviews people said they had to pay for their own taxi.
  5. Playa Mia is $40 entry fee for adults. Lots of add on options, if they are interested.
  6. Only thing to add is, the Chank tour listed on our cruise (on the Glory out of NOLA) is "at leisure" which means transportation not provided, and you need to take a taxi on your own anyway. You can get the same package as Carnival is selling for over $30 less per person. We were considering going to Chank as well, and had looked into it already. Currently we're leaning towards Playa Mia, but haven't decided yet.
  7. I thought Stingray City, also, but I remember it being much more than waist deep (but it was in 2015, so I may be misremembering). I think we did a stingray excursion at Grand Turk that was in waist deep water, though.
  8. August 13! That would be great, thanks so much! Hope you have a great trip. What ship are you on?
  9. Thank you! This is definitely very helpful. We'll have to decide then between the inflatables and the sand. We also have a beach day at Mahogany beach for this cruise, so I predict their choose PM, but with these photos, we'll see.
  10. That needs to be fixed then. I know they need money, but charging for sea days when it only works on port days!
  11. I meant, when you went to add it to your cart, was it checked off for all passengers, or just one? That could explain the $315 total price, instead of $45.
  12. Are you adding it to just one person, or to everyone in your booking?
  13. A new wi-fi plan just popped up in my cruise manager for our Glory sailing in August. Port wi-fi for $45 per sailing (at least for our 7 day sailing with 3 ports). It's a mobile hotspot device that allows up to 5 devices at the same time, unlimited data. Only works while ship is in a port. Weird thing is in the description it says it's for Carnival Magic only, but I can definitely add it to my cart.
  14. We have T-mobile and had service in the Bahamas. This was in 2019. Text and data is included in our plan.
  15. How is it nicer than PM? We're a group of 6, and at $40 pp more, so is Passion Isle $240 nicer? And, with the travel time, it's about 2 hours less time on the beach.
  16. I believe the problems are at the whale lot, not the parking for carnival in the Erato st garage.
  17. We're driving to New orleans also for the glory, but in August. We decided to spend the night in Hattiesburg the night before and then park at the terminal. It really is the easiest and most convenient. We'd get to new orleans to late the night before to enjoy anything in the city anyway, so we'd only have the morning before the cruise to wonder around the hotel.
  18. As a solo traveler, the cruise ship option won't be much more money than any other option, you'll have to check the price. The advantage is you just follow the crowd to your bus, without waiting on a taxi line, or trying to find the car service/van that's yours (there will be lots of them). The disadvantage is that you might have to wait until the bus fills, and you might not get to choose when to debark the ship.
  19. When you skip ahead to the check in time, can you go directly to check in time, or do you have to click through each prior step individually?
  20. Might as well wait until you have a few items to call about, to minimize phone calls. No urgency but no harm in calling sooner either.
  21. You'll be ok... just transfer your booking to one of the new itineraries that will stop at Yorktown https://www.goape.com/adventures/axe-throwing/
  22. Diamonds, Platinums, and suites can check in at 16 days.
  23. Just happened to me also. Oh well. I'm sure I wouldn't have won anyway.
  24. I got an email from Carnival letting me know I got the credit. I went to my account, and the OBC was there.
