Your TA is correct. There is nothing to worry about. Happens to me all the time. Never had an issue.

We are new to Seabourn. Generally, what time are the suites available for occupancy? Is it a tiered approach, similar to Regent?

Referral Coupon Thread- This is the only one!
RJ2002 replied to Tucruisers's topic in Seabourn Cruise Line
We are new to Seabourn and some friends submitted a referral for us. However, a Seabourn rep told us the referral program was not combinable with the current “Sail Away Event” promotion. -
Regent First Timer Onboard - Reasonable Expectations?
RJ2002 replied to D&L Thomas's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
As many others have mentioned, just leaving a note seems to always work when we have specific requests. We do this when we have a butler as well, primarily for selection of the afternoon canapes. -

Is the Regent Air Department open on weekends, or is it only Monday-Friday? -
Live from Explorer March 28-April 11, 2023–Yokohama to Tokyo
RJ2002 replied to RachelG's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
This was a common occurrence on our Japan circumnavigation cruise several years ago, both for arrivals and departures in Japanese ports. Not to be missed. Sometimes it was a small group, other times a full high school band. Very much appreciated, and entertaining. Enjoying your posts @RachelG . Thanks again for sharing your cruise experience with everyone. -
Fee to talk to Regent Custom Air Department
RJ2002 replied to bbstx's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
I did not realize that the air credit can change over time. -
I'm also glad to see the in-person muster drills back in place.

New to Silversea. I’m looking at an exterior shot of the Spirit. It looks like the Deck 5 suites might have a slightly disadvantaged view from the veranda due to the ship’s structure. Is that correct? If so, we might consider a suite on a higher deck. Thanks for any comments.

The cleaning appears to be complete. Explorer is currently sailing at a fast 19.6 knots toward Auckland.
-
Hopefully no. However, the sea conditions are rough at the moment, which might delay the start of the hull cleaning operation by the divers. If the cleaning doesn't progress on schedule, Explorer might be delayed arriving into Auckland on 12 January. Will just have to wait and see how things go there today (Friday, 6 January).

I am told the head sommelier is Jolisa (Joelisa?). -

Andy Heath just boarded in Singapore. His wife Tammy is the social hostess. Marsha Lawson is the assistant CD. Not sure about the head sommelier. Will ask. -
Thanks for giving us continuing reports from Splendor! Enjoy your cruise.

Congrats on making it to BCN. One of our favorite cities. Hoping you have a restful evening prior to boarding tomorrow. Lufthansa used to be our favorite carrier to Europe, but it has slipped a notch for us as well. Their older business class seating lags other carriers with the newer 'pod' type seats. Most newer J seats don't involve the window seat occupant to climb over the aisle seat occupant to get up. By chance did you notice if your aircraft actually was "Eurowings" livery instead of "Lufthansa"? Eurowings is LH's low cost leisure product. They do apparently have full lie-flat business seats, and the seats look identical to LH's. However, I've read in other travel reviews the onboard service is not quite up to LH standards. On a Regent group FB post just recently, it sounded as though the poster was booked on Eurowings/LH as well. I wonder if Regent has started to use Eurowings more? Anyway, like others, I'm really looking forward to your reports aboard Spendor. Hope you have a wonderful cruise and all goes well tomorrow at boarding. Get ready for that champagne! -
Sounds like you are having a wonderful time. One of these days we'll have better internet onboard Regent, and it will fall into line with all the other great offerings. Continue to enjoy!

When we were researching online, we had LAX in the query and the website indicated there was an add on fee. We didn’t understand that at all, and sure enough the onboard cruise consultant confirmed there was no additional airfare fee. I would just recommend that you verify with Regent, either directly or through a TA, to be sure.

We saw something similar recently. We were onboard Explorer, and were searching some options online prior to an appointment with the future cruise consultant. I mentioned it to him during our appointment, and the consultant said there was no airfare fee. I wonder if this is some sort of glitch in the website?
