  1. Reading back to page 1 in this thread I see that I was wrong again. That happens.
  2. Curious about what age group you are and what types of food you prefer. I'd like to know more what you consider "healthy choices"? Unless there's been a change I've never had an issue with the food on Oceania. I'm not a cheerleader or an apologist, I just know what I like. It's been since Dec of 2019 since I was on Riviera but I was on Regatta in Sept of 22 and the food was pretty much as Oceania's food always has been.
  3. Unless there's been a change your TA might not really understand the way Oceania works.
  4. Good to hear as we're doing that one next week.
  5. LOL. Chip off the block.
  6. I tried a bunch of different flavors. I like the Elvis Fat Years and the Meyer Lemon. Somehow I never got to try the Regatta Royale. Some others I didn't care for, not sure the names. I really like ice cream and different flavors. On one Med trip with a lot of Italy ports I had to try a different flavor of gelato in every port.
  7. In answer to your question, yes US TA's can book Canadians.
  8. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that Jan lady needs schooling on Oceania from you. LOL
  9. I'm not sure what you're saying. Are you saying for all the people that want to come in up to 3 days early then there is no deviation fee? If so that is definitely a positive change.
  10. Can't say for sure, but I think you get the All Included pricing at 10% off. What makes you think otherwise?
  11. Why must she show so much cleavage? Just horrible. I have to change the channel any time she comes on. (because my wife beats me over my head) And that smile, so pretty, and so rich. Some people just have it all.
  12. I have had that happen before, but it's been a few years. The price went down at the same time. Unbelievable.
  13. If you had gone the Ollfe route first, all that would happen is that your TA would add it to your existing reservation at no additional cost. But when you have cruise only that's not an option for you. Carry on.
  14. Well here's an interesting tidbit. Historically since the PUP program started, the emails for them have always come to me. Today my wife got an email for this gift box, and I didn't get one. The odd thing is I have 624 points and the email showed my wife's balance as 540. When I logged in to her account it shows the 624 for her also. Unfortunately, I've had to cancel two Celebrity cruises in the last couple of weeks anyway, so it doesn't matter much either way. I should be on a free Solstice cruise right now.
  15. I see Nov 9th and the 19th for Riviera on the Ultimate Sale, but since you don't care about such things I'm sure you wouldn't want to pursue it.
  16. I found this on a US TA site in about 5 minutes.
  17. Good post. Some people don't get that it has to be one or the other, there's room for both. Over the past 20 years or so we've always done some private tours, some ships tours and sometimes just walking around a port. The one thing we have rarely done is go to a beach and sit in the sun. Oddly enough on many cruise lines that's the number one thing many people are most interested in. To me that is a big waste of time and money.
  18. Ok...........Not sure your experience, but this is off base from what I've see over the years. The only time this would be correct is when the excursion you choose is less than $100. And anyone doing that doesn't really understand the system. Any excursion over $100 and you're ahead of the game. This does not take into account the actual value of Oceania excursions and what you could purchase that excursion for elsewhere. Bottom line is taking the OBC is a dollar-for-dollar trade and with only a few rare exceptions is the best choice. You're better off taking cruise only if that's the route you want to go. If by "it" you were referring to excursions then disregard the post, but I assumed you were referring to OBC having more bang for your buck.
  19. That looks great, were you saving your loungers while enjoying this meal? (Sorry, couldn't resist)
  20. I loved going to that village, I felt like I was in Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones. I would recommend anyone go there when in that area.
  21. Thanks for my evening chuckle.
  22. In my recall it seems the pianist performs during Happy Hour, then takes off during dining hours. I guess this doesn't really fit your idea of what needs to happen during this time. Oceania may not be the best fit for you.
  23. Sewshs, glad that's worked out now.
