  2. Thanks. Bitmoji. Just search for it in the App Store. It is a free app and very simple. There are other fancier ones, I think.
  3. Sorry you hit your head on this way-too-low pendant. It looks as if the pillow covers must still be in transit ?!? Along with the barstools. I'm not crazy about the design statement being made (or Not) in the lounge.
  4. How to order a Lobster Roll in Luminae. Have a great rest of your Birthday, Jim!
  5. There are two non-suite categories of "real" balconies on E-class ships. Sunset verandah and Porthole verandah. I'm with you. No infinite whatever-they-want-to-call-them staterooms for me either. Georgia_Peaches is reporting from a Porthole verandah stateroom in her live thread currently. A pic she posted of the verandah....
  6. Hmmm. I wonder if I should be buying my used cars in "bundles" because a set is "an investment." By-the-way @Georgia_Peaches I am loving the play-by-play on board experiences you are sharing. Effy is everywhere at deeply discounted prices including our local Off 5th store.
  7. If this is on M-class and if there is no penalty involved, I would consider doing this. I like the Blu dining room on M-class although it can be very crowded and busy. We liked the row of tables all the way to far rear wall of the restaurant. Surprisingly this table location felt less like a runway of wait traffic passing by. I think the wall may have absorbed some of the noise also. After our next sailing the rest of our bookings are in DV or SV. Aqua was still too much of a $$$$ step up from the regular verandahs to justify the price difference. Using the savings to do a specialty or two. As Ken said, the four main dining rooms on E-class should provide plenty of options.
  8. I guess we made a good choice on our new ones. Now I just have to learn how to use it and teach it to do the laundry. 😄
  9. Happy Cruise Day! Reading intently your thoughts on E-class while we wait until September to lose our Edge virginity on Beyond. Enjoy!
  10. Another Celebrity loyalist here giving the Yacht Club a try for the first time on board Seascape next month. GenerationX’s Live Silhouette thread over on the Celebrity boards is what influenced me. She started in a Royal Suite on Sil and then on turnaround day she moved over to Divina. Lots of good Yacht Club info to read through there. Have you submitted your loyalty status match application to MSC? It is very easy to do. I used our Azamara status and was matched to Diamond level on MSC which entitled me to a discount on the cruise fare and other benefits.
  11. We are fine with eating late every night. This sailing is on Silhouette. Le Petit Chef does not interest us in the least. Murano is my favorite. DH prefers Tuscan. We have never done Lawn Club Grill or The Porch. If I decide to pull the trigger I will have to get on the phone. As posted above, my sailing's cruise planner indicates "We're stuffed..." (Ugh!) once you select a passenger, so no booking online. Now I remember this was the exact same availability scenario previously when the cruise planner showed a 3-night package which has since disappeared.
  12. I am happy this was a viable option for you. Did your same card open both rooms? Or do you have to carry both cards to access both rooms. I am imagining myself at the pool asking, "Oh dear. I forgot my sippie cup. Did I leave it in the sleeping room or my original room?"
  13. I see this is available for purchase in the cruise planner for my 4-night Silhouette cruise. Did Celebrity just bring back this option? With the 30% Black Friday Savings it is regularly $246 per person on sale for $171.99 per person. I think it is a great value. I already have Lawn Club Grill booked with the first-night discount, so I would cancel that. Thinking LCG, Tuscan, and twice at Murano along with lunch on the sea day at The Porch. Staying in a regular verandah and I like the idea of elevating the dining experiences this cruise. This happens to be the second annual Tampa Bay Bucs cruise, so I am somewhat concerned about availability of dining venues. But I would think only venues like the Sky Lounge or Cellar Masters would be affected by this non-chartered group. Disclaimer: I am not on this sailing because I am a Bucs fan. I will definitely RUN to make dining reservations the moment we step on board. Any thoughts? Fine print from Celebrity.... Overview Embark on a culinary journey with an Unlimited Dining Package. 14. Uh, I think that ship has sailed.😂🤣😂
  15. I tend to pack every possible medication known to mankind, but I will now also be adding Plink to my packing list for my two first-ever Edge-class bookings.
  16. The look on Ziggy’s face when the suitcases are pulled out of storage prior to packing for a cruise….
  17. We sail on 12/9 and just received our fifth upgrade email. The first one came on 9/20. Hopefully you will get another one.
  18. Happy Anniversary! 🥂 This sounds like it will be another one of your intriguing threads. We are Edge-class virgins, but we recently booked Sunset Verandahs (no IVs for us) on Beyond and XL. 😂 The XL sailing will be one of the first ones. We only have a little over two years to wait. ⏰ Where do y’all usually sleep on board?!? Bon 🚢 voyage !!!
  19. After a certain amount of time passes your post can no longer be edited. I just booked this same sailing today for darling husband and myself. I was quite pleased with the group pricing from a highly competitive TA. Come join us on the roll call.😀
  20. We are booked in a Sunset Verandah on deck 8 for our first Edge-class sailing. Good to know you have not had the noise issue aft.
  21. Of course not. Maybe I should clarify the point of my post. My intentions are to get 2025 cruises booked. Not 2025 airfare. Sorry if that was not clear.
