Interesting Tidbit found on RCI APP
little britain replied to Engineroom Snipe's topic in Royal Caribbean International
That has been the norm on UK bookings since they reintroduced it ( without any notification) for at least the past five years. Perhaps they are standardising this across the world? -
What is the b2b procedure if the ship has been Sydney- Tasmania - Sydney on first cruise then going Sydney - NZ - Sydney on the second please? I’m guessing the first cruise is “domestic” so no customs 🛃 or anything ?

Best ports to see wildlife/ scenery in NZ

Pukekara Blue penguin tour Only starts at dusk which doesn’t work when the ship sails at 5p unfortunately! @luckybecky have you seen https://www.elmwildlifetours.co.nz/ ? -
Thanks all. We will be at the Fullerton pre cruise so will probably use the http://www.washontherocks.com.au/ option then the https://macleaystlaundrette.com/ option on turnaround day!!

All the cabins I’ve had have hooks on the doors and a towel rail for you to hang up your towels after use…🤷♀️

Usually the jug has the pale blue thumb holder which says Skimmed. You can tell if it is because of the consistency.

Full text of Celebrity email announcing introduction ( reintroduction) of a lounge… I have heard from many of our loyal Captain’s Club members, such as yourself, that one of the program’s most gratifying aspects is the opportunity to be part of a community of like-minded travellers with whom you can share your experiences on board. I love that so many of you are eager to connect over your shared passion for travel and cruising. I am excited to announce that starting in January 2024, we will designate an existing lounge space for our Elite, Elite Plus, and Zenith members to get together on board during the daily Elite Cocktail hour. The lounge space will be available twice per cruise on sailings between 5 nights and 7 nights, and three times per cruise on sailings 8 nights or longer, from 5pm to 7pm. Your concierge team will inform you in your welcome letter of the specific days and locations where you can gather on board. Additionally, drinks will still be available at bars and lounges throughout the ship daily by presenting your Seapass card if you prefer not to use the designated lounge space. This gathering, in addition to our Captain’s Club Welcome Party, Senior Officer Party, Music & Mixology event, and more, provides our members with several opportunities to meet up, and we could not be more excited. Thank you for your loyalty, and I hope to meet you on board soon.

That to me reads; you can get drinks at any bar using your seapass As Well As using your seapass in this designated area. I think if it was free flow in this lounge it would have been specifically spelt out. 🤷♀️ 5-7 is far too early for us for evening drinks anyway so it won’t effect us, but we appreciate X trying to introduce ( reintroduce ) the lounge area for loyalty guests

Crown and Anchor Points Question
little britain replied to leftylisa24's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Before Jan 2011 neither programme gave a point per night. Celebrity changed their points calculation in Nov 2013 and is calculated based on class of cabin booked -
Enchantment of the Seas
little britain replied to travelchica915's topic in Royal Caribbean International
My friends have just taken their first ever cruise with their 10yr old daughter on Enchantment She loved it: came first in the find the crew nationality competition; loved the dance classes, took part in the flash mob, did the cake decorating; in fact she didn’t even go to the kids clubs. She is an only child and also enjoyed being with her parents and seeing the ports. -
Enchantment of the Seas

I sailed on her in May and I’m on her again next week. I though she was in good condition for her age and even commented on the new chairs in VCL which are far better than the awful old furniture on Jewel/Brilliance/Radiance which I have also been on in the past year. -
Crown and Anchor Points Question
little britain replied to leftylisa24's topic in Royal Caribbean International
You’ve probably been given credit for someone else’s cruise. Look at your cruise history in your account yo see what cruises are listed pre 2011? You can always call them and point out their error so they reduce your total 😉! -
Crown and Anchor Points Question
little britain replied to leftylisa24's topic in Royal Caribbean International
No it has never been the case that X CC points count towards C&A ( or vice versa) -
We saw them 4 nights running. Sorry! They weren’t great but at least we saw them! Remember they may not be visible to the naked eye 👁️- look through your iPhone/ camera lens and they will magically appear! I don’t think some people knew this… said they couldn’t see anything and went away! Use the Aurora app and even if it said 20% chance we saw them

We just had 25n on Jewel… thought the guy in Schooner was terrible! So LOUD and definitely not a sing along type! I think we had 2 drinks in that bar the whole 25n before we fled with ears covered!! Vintages was awesome on the first cruise and dead on the second… it’s all about the staff. Centrum was good. The Latin band were superb as were the duo with guitar and violin 🎻
