  1. I've been trying to convince them to hire me and pay in cruise credits, but, alas no response.
  2. That error is typically your browser having problems, not the website itself.
  3. I'm not sure anything in the large ship, family-oriented cruise genre that can be beat by Star Class
  4. They have to reimburse you at least $12 per test. Some will reimburse you the whole thing if they don't have their own "in network" test availability.
  5. Yes, it's still all wrong. Everyone on the ship is exposed in two days? One infected person will infect 7-14 others (which would be a record of contagiousness). No way. Cruise ships aren't sardine cans.
  6. This is all so wrong. Based on that everyone should leave a cruise sick with something they picked up on board.
  7. But the quarantines aren't required because someone has cold symptoms and a positive test. They're required because the CDC says so. If the CDC said "you can end quarantines" the cruise lines would do that in a heartbeat.
  8. But what difference has it made? If your criteria is simply "preventing known cases from boarding" then maybe. But in today's covid era, where for the majority it's nothing more than a cold, what are you really gaining when many others with colds are getting on board already?
  9. All those towns are tourist traps. They put the Caribbean jewelry vendors to shame
  10. I don't think perks are why they're more expensive. Just demand for the newer/bigger ships is higher so they can charge more.
  11. I don't believe so since the cruises had to happen prior to the end of 2022.
  12. I don't know, but not being able to access work materials wouldn't make me unhappy at all
  13. Onboard experience is almost back to normal other than the constant stress of being thrown in covid jail
  14. Testing also costs RC money. They pay for 2 tests for unvaccinated people. They pay for tests for symptomatic people on board. They are on the hook to refund your money if you test positive before a cruise. They are on the hook (at least for a little while longer) to reimburse those who test positive on board.
  15. I was on Serenade 2 weeks ago and that cruise dropped by almost 50% in the year I had the reservation
  16. Because they probably have like 5 people scouring over thousands of vax cards. There's a of stuff to stress about prior to a cruise these days. But don't let this issue be one of them.
  17. We're not there yet but pretty close. They won't be able to get back to pre-covid levels until they no longer have to set aside covid jail rooms
  18. There aren't many (any?) countries left that RC serves (talking specific to the Caribbean) that require a negative test to enter. Even fewer that require that of a cruise passenger.

  20. I can't answer that, but who they are now may not be who they are in September.
  21. On the flip side, I enjoyed it, but was glad I only paid $79pp. Any more than that and it's way overpriced.
  22. Countries are dropping testing requirements left and right. The cruise lines want testing requirements gone. It'll happen sooner rather than later.
  23. Correct. Unlimited drinks in the lounge, use your vouchers outside the lounge.
