  1. Different countries have different rules, UK / European rules are almost certain to be different from USA rules. Cunard can only do what Governments allow them to do.
  2. Would be interesting if this is the case given that many countries still have restrictions on unvaccinated people entering countries and put extra testing requirements on them.
  3. If you have had the Booster, then you are considered fully vaccinated. The 270 days relates to people who have only had the first 2 primary vaccination doses
  4. A certificate of Recovery, is what it says, it does not say you are not infectious, which is what a LFT test will indicate. A certificate of Recovery, is more likely to be used in stead of proof of vaccination. In my case I had 12 days of positive LTF tests, and on day 13 I was negative, the recommendation not to test for 90 dates is primarily aimed at PCR tests as they look for genetic material rather than "live" virus. LFT test results give a positive / Negative result a PCR test result is Detected / Not Detected. While the LFT test is less accurate it is a more pragmatic test, in that it does not usually give a positive result to some one who has recently recovered from Covid
  5. I would suspect, "Priority" means fast track boarding at your given boarding time and not an early boarding time.
  6. Only when the app is updated, on the QV Baltic voyage, the on board account via the app was not updated after day 2 , so regular visits to the Purser for updated statements. Agree with you on paper statements from the bars, in some you received one , in other you did not.
  7. Sunset just outside Tallin 27 June 2022 10:30 pm
  8. Yes, I am onboard for ask infer mandatory, and to be fair almost everyone is wearing a mask.
  9. Dining at the moment is 6:00 and 8:30 , however the doors are open by 8:15 for second seating. With so few people in the dining room and most of the tables are for 2 people it is possible to be finished with dinner by 9:30. given the numbers using the MDR and the vast majority of people dining on tables for 2 Cunard should move to one sitting similar to breakfast or lunch
  10. letter in the state room this morning, so far no other changes all facilities are open.
  11. Still no tv reception they are experiencing ‘technical Difficulties’ so the daily program says , internet is in my opinion poor both slow and frequently disconnects, I would not be happy if I was paying for it, Cunard my voyage is OK would be nice if it was updated with current information, my on board account is now 5 days out of date so will need to go to the purser to get an up to date statement . Otherwise all is good on QV
  12. Changes only happens yesterday, I doubt they have someone on 24 hour standby to update these documents
  13. Probability because you were tested before departure in Southampton
  14. The problem this will bring is with more and more countries not requiring tests for arrival by air, the number of testing companies will reduce, giving limited availability for testing for those people who require testing to go on a cruise ship.
  15. The use of face masks inside, will be driven by two things, the local requirements and the number of covid cased onboard. Unfortunately, I think face masks are with us in some form or another for the foreseeable future.
  16. In the past I have put unknown or Queen Elizabeth, you will "enter" the US at the cruise terminal in Vancouver, so immigration will understand your answer
  17. I Have been on QE ( pre covid ) when there has been noticeable vibration at the Aft of the ship, very noticeable at the back of the MDR on both deck 2 and 3. would no doubt carry through to the cabins. Personally I would not book a cabin in the Aft section of either QE or QV
  18. Have received the same for a QE cruise in October, nice thought, but not very green
  19. Cabin assignments usually notified 3 weeks before sailing, when you check in online. Cruise is showing sold out as Cunard have stopped selling the cruise in order to sail with reduced capacity.
  20. There are many variables to answer this question, its not just as simple as boarding the ship at the port, you also need to take into account the location. What country is the ship in , what nationality is the passenger, where is the ship going etc. Cunard may allow an extra passenger for advertised segments of a longer cruise, however once you need to involve immigration or customs then Cunard's hands may be tied, simply due to immigration staff not being available at the port.
  21. Just received the voyage book for the QV Baltic cruise dining on board. first sitting at 6pm and anytime dining from 7:45
  22. QE SYD - SYD Circumnavigation Nov 22 16th Black & White 23rd Gala no theme noted 30th masquerade Dec 22 3rd Red & Gold 9th Roaring 20's
  23. Looks like open dining is an option on Queen Anne From the Cabin descriptions - Choice of Early, Late, and Open Dining in the Britannia Restaurant.
  24. I did read somewhere on the UK Cunard website, that the check in agent will check that you have Insurance, that has the minimum £2,000,000 medical expences and that it covers all passengers and is in date, and that is it. Check in agents are not insurance specialists , as you say, if your insurance is not fit for purpose, then that is your problem not Cunards.
  25. 14:20 UK Time and there still appears to be plenty of Inside and Balcony cabins available for the Maiden voyage. Not sure if this is what Cunard expected as QE Maiden sold out in 30 Min
