  1. The little alcove area where luggage would go and allows doors to swing out....
  2. For a long time, waiters have said that there are restrictions and now the restrictions are in writing BUT has anyone actually been charged extra for extra items? 🤔
  3. https://www.msccruisesusa.com/cruise/ships They're there.
  4. We did this in 2018. We all enjoyed it. Wear your swimsuit under your clothes (we over packed) so that you and the kids can enjoy getting in the water with the young sea turtles and also enjoy the pool/waterslide area. Lunch was included. There are also lots of birds and reptiles to see and touch. The bus ride isn't great but by going with the MSC excursion, you have full access as well as the included food. There are different levels (different colored wristbands) so depending on what you purchase on your own, you might not get full access/included lunch.
  5. On the BA/BA Plus ships, an Oceanview that sleeps 5 will look like this.
  6. Just have 1 person make the reservation for everyone. NCL doesn't care who the people are and the reservation can be for more than the number of people in the stateroom. You could make a reservation for 6 and it could be you and 5 strangers.
  7. It might only be Jefferson's now that is "Resort Casual aka Smart Casual" (long pants). The NCL site has Liberty as "temporarily closed". Anyway, check the dailies for your particular cruise.
  8. The alphanumeric codes have changed but the info is still the same. On most ships, the larger balcony suites are a different/more expensive category but Escape still has them all the same category/price...for now. For Escape, Configuration B is on decks 11 and 14. The smaller bathroom near the entrance door doesn't have a window in any of them but it does have shower/sink/toilet.
  9. You're right. I should have been more accurate. I must've been thinking of VIBE. My kids are not even close to that age but I can see how the 16-17 age group would like to know that they are allowed there with the "adults".
  10. This is Breakaway but Escape is set-up the same. It shows an Oceanview that sleeps 5.
  11. No. There is a sundeck that is adults-only for Haven guests but "all ages" Haven guests are allowed everywhere else.
  12. Dining in the Haven restaurant for non-Haven guests is at the discretion of the concierge. If the Haven is at or near capacity, the concierge might deny the request. Try to co-ordinate with the concierge as early as possible. The concierge might allow the first few requests then deny the rest. As for the rest of the Haven (lounge, bar, pool, sundeck, etc.), the non-Haven guests are not allowed there.
  13. If taking the promo... Applicable to guests 1-8 on the reservation. If 3-8 guest is under 21 years of age, Unlimited Open Bar Package does not apply and soda package will not be given as a substitution. Guest #3 (if over 21) gets the PBP and pays the service charge. Guest #3 (if under 21) does not get the soda package. Book adults as #1, #3, and #4 and child as #2.
  14. It depends on how you book the "under 21" person..... Applicable to guests 1-8 on the reservation. If 3-8 guest is under 21 years of age, Unlimited Open Bar Package does not apply and soda package will not be given as a substitution. Guest 1-2 must be at least 21 years of age at time of sailing to qualify for the Unlimited Open Bar Package. Guests under 21 will receive the soda package. ...the "under 21" would have to be guest #2 in order to get the soda package for the FAS (and pay a smaller service charge).
  15. We also had a great YC deck party on Seashore. I have the names of those 3 butlers who were dancing up near the pool but I don't have the list with me. I spoke to one of them for a while about their dancing (they have a routine that isn't The Macarena), his family back home, how they got through Covid, etc. Good times. Thanks.
  16. Yes. Are you trying login by With Booking Number or by With Your MSC Account? Both methods are working for me for multiple bookings. I booked both directly and by "MSC concierge". There are differences but no issues with logging in.
  17. What is the URL that you are using at the start?
  18. Nearly every time, it's starboard side. The ship is capable of either side but go with starboard if you want to face the island.
  19. I wonder how many people on the forum get the Back to School reference. 👍
  20. Back then (2017) it was 18%. Haven guests were not charged for the promo while non-Haven guests were. Then, NCL started charging Haven guests the same as everyone else.
  21. I've read other posts that state that the Starbucks package is 18 and older. I wonder if there will be a situation where a signed/approved parental consent would allow the purchase of the package similar to the old Corks and Caps package was allowed for the "almost 21" children. Under 18 can obviously buy individual Starbucks but I wonder if there is a way for under 21 to get a package of their own.
