I agree Avril. I like to physically turn the pages. Plus a book is useful to rest the crossword on and also let the waiters know I am returning to my table 😀

I’d happily eat about half of those options. Often I don’t fancy what is written, but it is delicious when it comes. How it is cooked is more important as far as I am concerned. It can be a delicious menu, but if cooked badly it becomes inedible. I am very concerned that the food is maybe only heated up as opposed to being prepared freshly by chefs. I will soon see and taste for myself!

I don’t use them to prevent norovirus - as soap and water is the best defence along with not putting hands near mouth.

Gosh that is very late to be off. The traffic all around was horrendous yesterday.

I have to say I wipe down the cabin surfaces, door handles and telephone with Dettol wipes when I first board. Always have done. No idea if it makes any difference tho, but can’t hurt.

I had a mild second dose of shingles a few weeks after my Mum died (I was 47) so it does appear it is often a reaction to stress.

Goodness, that’s a good price for pizzas. I’m meeting my goddaughter in Pizza Express and looking at their menu, their prices have increased considerably since I went last year e.g Romana mushroom pizza £15.45 and I bet the view won’t be as good…..🤣

Gosh, I hope you have insurance as it gets very expensive (£55 for a consultation here).

I used to keep a few of the menus from the 1990’s when they were printed on thick paper and with a beautiful picture on the front. Wouldn’t bother now!

So are you saying no negative or critical posts of problems encountered by CC members should be posted? I read all posts and then make my own decisions as to what I should do and I’m sure that is what most do. Your posts from on board have been informative and interesting and I thank you for those, but MBs posts and Bee-Ess’s posts are equally valid and helpful and I do think you have to be a little careful not to offend those who are taking the time to post their experiences for the benefit of others. Glad you got what you wanted booked, but oh dear, this is not what a relaxing cruise should be like and it means those who are less tech savvy or not on this forum will miss out. That is so not right…... Makes me even more sure that I will stick to the smaller ships. But, have a wonderful cruise and let us know how it all goes. x

Oh goodness, that is not acceptable. What were the parents thinking of in allowing that behaviour and worse still, not profusely apologising to you and offering to buy you a glass of wine. Now, I appreciate that when a child is over tired they can become little devils, but……..

I’ve totally given up on the thought of getting into my pre 2019 clothes, so have just bought new ones - one size up!
