@TigerB great review. Thank you so much for posting. Was especially pleased to hear staff in Crow’s Nest were enforcing dress code. Appalled, but not surprised by issues with hygiene of some pax in Horizon.

We haven’t got a street party but our cluster of six properties are having a “tea party” with fizz on Sunday afternoon!

Someone had a groom this week, someone didn’t like being clean, someone rolled in something unmentionable, someone had to have a bath and someone else had had to scrub the bath clean and now needs alcohol!!

I’d also been thinking that we had not heard from @kalos for a week or so - but I wonder if he is away on holiday? I shall be watching the Coronation, Jane and your break away in Southwold sounds lovely…… And yes, I think Adam Lambert is fab too. On the other end of the scale somewhat, I’ve booked to see Donny Osmond at the end of the year on his UK tour, so I shall be a teeny bopper again for a few hours 🤣🤣 @purplesea - I really hope you get an update today. I’m still doing Wordle….. I lost my run of over 100 last week tho! I play a variety of games on my iPad and waste a lot of time!

But, I wonder how many of the 10 million had their emergency notifications turned off, had old 2g / 3G phones or hadn’t done a software update for a while……🙄

Apparently many of those who didn’t get the alert are with the Three network. Mine came thru at 1501 via Vodafone.

Yuk….. that is especially annoying when there is a specific pool for children and parents at the aft end of deck 8…..

I started cruising in 1992 on P&Os Sea Princess/Victoria and entertainment was held every night in the International Lounge. It was provided by either a guest artist, the Stadium Theatre Company and/ or the Entertainment Officers. The EA officers participation was always a highlight for me as they were generally very good and, being a small ship with only 700 passengers, you knew them and they knew you.

I only buy trousers and dresses that are the right length on me and so never have to take anything up. But, I accept i am lucky that I’m not short or tall (at 5’6), but i am sadly somewhat rounded to make up for that…🤣

15c here in Dorset and I have even been sitting out in the garden this morning. How lovely to feel the warmth of the sun on my skin….. Rain tomorrow I believe!!
