  1. That is correct. Any time you reprice you are paying the prevailing rate. So whatever the rate is as of today plus any extra OBC or offers included. You will not lose the portion of OBC you received as part of the onboard booking incentive.
  2. What you were told is correct. You can upgrade your cabin if possible (of course at prevailing rates) but you are not owed anything.
  3. Your suite guests would have to have been allowed to make the purchase (like previously mentioned - it is capacity limited and only offered to upper suites) but it is all or nothing. You have the purchase for the entire duration of the cruise.
  4. There is nothing preventing group space for suites but it is rather expensive for the agency to do it so most won't. There is one I know of that may but I do not think they make it publicly available.
  5. Not necessarily but it’s pretty likely. There is a lot of inaccurate info posted here regarding how groups work. It is a little confusing but it’s extremely valuable in my opinion. Do some research, call a few big agencies, ask others, etc. If they don’t immediately know what you are asking about, immediately pass. Other agencies who use a clunky online booking interface will have a banner at the top of the category selection page that says group space exists. In the rate/price options it will say something to the effect of group xxxxx. That also doesn’t mean they can’t bring a different category into a group. It’s best to call in that case.
  6. They overcomplicated the explanation of this by trying to cover all of the bases. There are no more FCC's related to non-refundable deposits. None. If you cancel your cruise you lose the full deposit paid. If you move your cruise to a different sail date you pay $100/pp for the change fee but you transfer the NRD to the new date.
  7. I don't know of an interline discount for WiFi but depending on what allowed you to get that rate, they may have something else to offer onboard. I know corporate employees and contractors on board use a different network. If you just gained the interline rate by proxy I wouldn't count on any discount.
  8. On Beyond and Reflection recently they have had deck parties with suggested white attire but it's not necessarily a theme night like some other Iines may do. Although a surprising amount of people participated on both.
  9. Unfortunately you still can’t do that. On S class the aft C1’s are now SC (Sunset Concierge) which are excluded. On M class there are the 2-3 aft accessible C1’s but that’s it.
  10. Nothing tangible is happening on that date. Some cabins were renamed and recategorized. Cruises with a sail date after April 25 2023 were sold based upon the updated categorization.
  11. It would be unlikely to have relatable air options available to book more than a year from your travel date. 330 days is the norm -with a few exceptions.
  12. All of the ports indicated in this graphic should have at least one stop during the 24/25 season. Ship size, the preference to avoid tendering, lack of things to do on some of the more obscure islands, port congestion, etc. all have an impact on where you can visit.
  13. Correct. If you are asking if you could upgrade from a V1 to a DV, then no, you cannot. The upgrade has to be within the same super-category. Above a V1 would be the DV which is outside of the super-category and also listed in the excluded category. You can go from V3 to V2 or from V2 to V1, but that's where it would stop.
  14. He would just be a no show at the pier. She wouldn’t have any issues. Just don’t try to remove him from the booking. Leave it as is and there will be no problems.
  15. On a booking made directly with Celebrity the grats always show due for a few days then fall off. Nothing to worry about.
  16. A Celebrity exec confirmed very recently that they have no plans for Galveston in the future.
  17. There are literally printed cards on the cashier's desk that explain how to do it in an easier way with a room charge. I don't think it's a secret since they provide instructions to you.
  18. You'll be getting a knock on your door around 8am if you are still in the room. By 9am they will be gently telling you it's time to go. Check out www.resortpass.com there are decent options near the port for a day room well under $100.
  19. Lately the key to a smooth walk off is don't get in line. Wait until the ship clears, give it 10 minutes, and you will walk right off. We were on the same cruise and immediately walked off around 7:45 with no line. The taxi line was long but the sheriff out front told everyone they hadn't come yet. Right at 8am about 10 cabs showed up and continued to show up in waves every few minutes. The line was long but we waited 10-15 minutes at most. There were easily 50-75 people in front of us. We arrived to FLL also by 8:15 where apparently everyone flying has TSA pre-check paired with the slowest moving CLEAR line I have ever experienced. I've seen many people say the Magic Carpet does not move, but it was on deck 5 most nights of this cruise. They typically asked everyone to clear off around 4:15pm so they could relocate.
  20. That's how credit card payments and refunds work with every single vendor who accepts them.
  21. The majority of my Celebrity cruises have been in January to February. Rarely more than a handful of kids. Last week Beyond was sold out and there were maybe a dozen.
  22. 👍 This seems like it may be a better option. The port is not pedestrian friendly. I would be leery to drop luggage too early. With the time an Uber can take to arrive, traffic, etc. it seems like you have plenty of time to shop but the window closes in pretty quickly. Also, depending on what kind of shopping you want to do, you will not find anything very unique within the 17th street area. You may not be familiar with some of the stores but they are very basic places you can find in any strip mall in the US. Something else to consider.
  23. It's actually the opposite. TA's can hold unsold group allocated space until 150 or 120 days from sailing. If the situation occurs that TA's are holding all of the available inventory (such as this case) Celebrity will require the unsold cabin allocation to be given up so they have inventory to sell.
  24. Correct. A little earlier than normal but they can do it at any time, especially if all available inventory is held by TA's.
