  1. That's true for some folks, especially those that just look at the minimum amount to be paid on their credit card bill each month. Sad, but Princess probably loves those kind of cruisers.
  2. We always book mid-ship, arrive early and carry all our luggage so we pretty much eliminate the crazy hour of boarding.

  4. We always use WhatsApp along with T mobile on the ship which words great. Also calling and sending each other text messages.
  5. If you enter on deck 5 or 6 you'll have to walk up to deck 7 in order to go to the rear elevators on most ships. Sort of defeats the purpose if you can catch an elevator initially.
  6. We nave had the actual front cabin but one on the front side. Yes, it's a long walk to go any where's. It always seems that we wanted to go to the other end of the ship.

  8. But it's so nice to have the luggage with us so we can quickly unpack items for the safe & other things that wrinkle so they can hang up while we have lunch. You've got that right, at least the forward elevators.
  9. But is it the same pizza in both locations? Something tells me that there's a discernable difference. Not that I could tell since I don't eat pizza on a cruise.
  10. Isn't that just a survey? From what I've heard so far, it's not to popular. Absolutely. It's a matter of principle. I'll get whatever it is my own, thank you. I don't need their slow service. My chair by the pool will be waiting.
  11. I suspect, based upon what I'm reading, that most people will complain to some degree and just pay the increases in the long run. We're not happy with the cutbacks and reductions and have our own strategy on maintaining our expenditures, but I'm sure it wouldn't work for most people.
  12. Simply because it's one of the major cost items in the package. Especially if a person doesn't utilize the Wi-Fi, exercise classes or crazy desserts.
  13. It's so nice to have your luggage available to unpack as soon as your finished with lunch. If they bring it on for you ,sometimes it won't arrive till late afternoon.
  14. I'm surprised that they're wearing shorts on formal nights since many people indicate that trips in that region are definitely more formal.
  15. You can only imagine how frustrating it is for travel agents having to call them each day.
  16. Oh, and how I know it. Princess has been dragging their feet for years now when all the other lines had already changed. They finally saw the writing on the wall & realized that the younger generation prefers a more casual atmosphere. Let the people decide how formal they prefer to make their dining experience. You can see by the design of their newer ship that there adding things to try & attract that younger crowd.
  17. Well just look at the mess they've created with the packages. I'm sure they never anticipated such an increase in call volume from their booked passengers.
  18. Having a choice has been a long time coming & now we're looking at other cruise lines. I suppose it won't make to much difference since most of them have similar dress codes anyway.
  19. And yet there are those that consider it a great deal.
  20. I suppose I could if Princess at least honored what they advertised when we booked our future trips. Yes, I realize that times are tough for the cruise industry, but things are tough for us at home also. Honesty goes hand in hand with love as I grew up knowing it.
  21. We've been using the medallions for years now and still haven't had one item offered to us on the ship. What things do they push on you?
  22. That coffee does sound like a great improvement. Is it a drip coffee maker similar to the Royal class ships? Anything is an improvement over the old syrup coffee.
