That sounds good but we don't book suites and always choose our balcony cabin when first booking.

I don't have to concern myself with casino comp credits nor FCC credits for Covid but I'm still waiting to read about the other items.

Understood. I've found that in my situation I just don't need an internet connection all the time. If any emergency does occur & I need to keep in contact with everyone I can certainly purchase a connection at that time. We mostly sail in the Caribbean & are within a connection almost every other day for email since T-Mobile covers just about everywhere these days. Streaming is nice but I've found that if I plan ahead it's another thing that's not totally necessary.

We live in Florida also so I know what you're talking about. We never see more than one at a time and only occasionally as they accidently get into the house. We certainly don't have them breading indoors.

I'm still trying to determine just what a Princess planner is going to do for me. I certainly don't need someone to pick my cruise for me. I'm reading about additional OBC being granted but why would that happen for no reason? Confused?? Is there any reason to have someone try to sell me on a cruise?

That change really ticked me off since those minutes were plenty for me. Now I have to buy the package in order just check email. 😡 Forget about it. There's nothing so important that can't wait until I get to the next port to check.

A big item for many people is the reservation system for the DR's. Unless you make reservations right after after booking the cruise, you might run into crowds of people waiting to enter the DR.

We applied for our renewals around April 3 rd. We're not in any hurry but it's interesting to see how long it takes people to get theirs back.

They must spray like crazy every now & then.

We're like you having done many Caribbean cruises and hardly get off the ship any longer. There's really nothing for us left to see plus spending money on tours or taxi fares just isn't worth seeing the same things over and over again. The ship is practically empty, no chair hogs and the buffet crowd is minimal. It's a good time to catch up on my movies and wait for the pier runners.

Your post if the first time I've read about roaches on a Princess ship. What did the head waiter say about the hair situation? I'm assuming it was in the DR where this occurred.

On Princess ships it's next to impossible for get a decent seat in the theater where no one will be sitting near you. Most ships are now sailing filled and unless it's a lousy show, there's no hope of not being close to someone.

Thanks. Unless they begin to offer a cheaper package I've found my own way of tailoring a package to meet my needs. The internet just isn't worth it to me. The drink package is way to many for me to break even. Considering the amount of soda I drink, I'll bring my own & purchase more as needed in the ports.

They never questioned me even when I went through the scanner with only 1 suitcase filled with only 6 -1 liter bottles and no clothing during a B2B cruise. So much for their rule about cans of water. 😄 LOL

That would be great for passengers like myself since 3 or 3 drinks a day is more than enough. I'm not optimistic about it since todays sailors are leaving lots of drinks unordered which means lots more profit for Princess.

On one cruise they questioned me on the cans in my suitcase being beer. I told them to open it up & check and they just waved me through. 😁 I'm sure that swapping alcohol is their intent but in our last 4 trips we've never had anyone question out plastic bottles in our suitcase. Much of the Princess warning is just scare tactic.
