Saw that on the news last night. State of emergency, due to the fast melting Mendenhall Glacier, a huge home slid into the Mendenhall River.

I have not seen a chart, per se. But, PCl does give a lot of information on their excursions and on the details. Look at the details of how long on the bus, the time at the site, etc. Pompeii, probably strenuous, due to the walking. It is relatively flat, but some uneven ground areas too. The amount of time at the site, and walking are probably why. I’ve taken some that said they were strenuous, but they weren’t in my mind. I’ve booked and then once OB, checked with Shore excursions about my questions. They were very good about making changes, if available.

I would guess not, but IDK for sure. If they are sold out, it could be something going on, besides the cruises, like the Boat show or convention. VT may be out in October with booking dates and blackouts. I’ve seen them as late as Jan 7th, coming out with them. And I was wanting to book Feb. So, definitely have a backup reservation somewhere.

I don’t think it was advertised. Just some guests were told that the Grand Class ships would have their own concierge (no lounge) starting in June. Definitely ask. The concierge, if there is one, should introduce themselves, if you’re in a full suite.

The website let me book one last year and my CVP checked it, no good. Can’t go out of one US city and back to another US City. Must be the same.

That link that @t&atravel gave is the exact answer for you. I was searching and it’s hard to find. lol So, I agree with what you stated. If you initiate the one time fee Ocean Now $14.99, then you can order RS FROM the App with no extra fee. NOT from the cabin phone. Still free is the hang tag for continental breakfast you put on your door the night before.

If you book directly with PCL, in the website, you should see an option, CC, GC etc. Or, if you book with a TA/CVP they will take the GC as payment.

These are tough. I never get restricted fares because there are so many variations on the different carriers, they can’t possibly list each airline individually, as to all the restrictions. Not to mention how often airlines are making changes too. Sometimes the restricted fares are higher, go figure. What’s the fee for Alaska to select seating?

Yes, sometimes. I think they see if they can fill day 1 excursions, before they open even more on Day 2, in some areas of the world. If you want Day 2, I’d recheck it closer to sailing about 4-6 months out. But, I would also book day 1, and then cancel, if you can change It later. JMO

I think, they have received so many complaints now, that it is why you are receiving a canned response. Just to keep up with the emails….

So, this would force you to use the button on your cabin phone for RS, if you don’t have a smartphone. More $5 fees if you don’t have the package? If you make it complicated enough, some may just say, to heck with it, let’s just buy the package. NOT..

Yep, that’s what I’m doing also.

I always use my phone, but there are many guests who rely on the TV to order. Especially, if they are in their room and ordering RS. I hope it’s not fleet wide. So, fewer choices now. 😞

Our OBC has rolled over and we do a lot of b2b’s. I assume you’re referring to all that GC OBC that you acquired? 🤣

They will ask for some proof. I’m not sure how far back they can go, but if you have the ships and date of sail, that will help. They did have manifests that might show you. Do you have any thing from the sailings, like menus, pictures of the ship, etc. Ant information you have, I would send it along with your full names, address, phone and email address to the email address that @KenTheCruisergave you above.
