  1. I was thinking louder pool music, songs from the 1980's onward, some sort of club dancing, etc. Not Carnival level partying but something more active than Regent.
  2. Are there any sort of activities/music that would appeal to someone in their 40's?
  3. This. They don't even look nor do the buses from the hotels deliver you at the time on your boarding pass.
  4. Some people like form, others prefer substance. I've never been a person who cares about the newest and the shiniest....I like old comfortable sweaters and small bars with nooks for dinner. Small ships over large, less people over more. I don't care about artwork, fancy staircases or those silly eggs. I've been on all the ships in the last 7+ years and know enough to know what I like. I respect what others prefer...but I find great enjoyment in Navigator in particular.
  5. Agreed. I just never noticed the vibration...maybe she and I resonate at the same frequency!
  6. I love the Navigator. Reading some of the posts here, you would think half these people have never been onboard any Regent ship.
  7. I've spent 100 nights on Voyager and never noticed any unusual vibration. Navigator has a bit of it but I like it!
  8. I just don't understand Regent sometimes. What is the point of throttling Starlink to 1995 speeds?
  9. Nope - because if it is dangerous, Regent won't take you there. Of course, if Turkey attacks Israel, you won't be going to the Middle East for a very long time so make sure you are properly insured.
  10. It does. If Regent is going to say they are the only 6 star line then they need to do better than 2 star internet. This is almost 2024....dump the silly egg and get some bandwidth.
  11. Maersk is getting 220kb/s on their ships. Less ships = less users in a given area = less satellites needed. Of course location is a factor but even under the current system, the ship has MULTIPLE satellite connections that are extremely fast. The computer IT has one, the internal ship IT person has one, Navigation has one, etc. If RCC can figure it out and commercial shipping companies can figure it out, I am sure NCLH can handle it. It's simply a question of $$$.
  12. Bingo! Current (non-Starlink) onboard speed in bandwidth limited, not hardware limited. Hope they bought more from Starlink. I understand there is a budget crisis but if they want to attract younger clients, this is required.
  13. Clarifying that some emails go to TA only and some go to client and TA. If it went to her first then it has a copy of the billing that only the TA gets so they answer might be there. However if she authorized Regent to talk to you they will have the answer when you call.
  14. The docs that are sent are done so by computer when a file is updated/changed/etc. Sometimes the change might only be visible on the back end or TA's copies.
  15. Your TA can (and should) call Regent for you even if she is on vacation. Regent may tell you they cannot talk to you if you have a TA...depending on what the change is. But first, check the listed amenities...maybe you got something from her like an OBC.
  16. I've been in quite of few of the accessible suites and they all had closets. Memory says they have large open showers and no tubs but there is plenty of room for a shower stool/seat if you bring it.
  17. There should be a walk in closet. In addition, Regent will bring small dresser units to your room if you ask. The bathroom is larger than normal. What ship/room number are you in?
  18. The main issue is probably existing contracts for service with the existing provider. Grandeur doesnt have a contract and Mariner needs Starlink for the high SSS level people on the WC. The others will be replaced as their contracts expire.....just my guess.
  19. I believe you are correct...but it would be nice if they gave 2 per cabin.
