Hi all I boarded Sun Princess yesterday and need to block off the toilet sensor. Can someone please tell where it is. I’ve blocked off the two bedside table ones. They were easy to find. Thanks

Not if you are sitting down having a drink and admiring the great view. Taking the steps up and down is less busy too if you don't want to queue for the cable cars! There's only 588 steps so no big deal 😂

Caribe deck balconies on the Grand Class ships are the best we have ever had.

We board Sun Princess in under 48 hours on Saturday and I get a bid upgrade email from Princess this morning! It's the middle of the summer holiday season so I would have thought the ship would be full and cabins allocated well before this Saturday. Curious to know what is going on. Does this happen with other ships?

Thanks Gladys I'm confident we will stop at Santorini next Tuesday, despite all the naysayers! We fly out Saturday and will hopefully be on board by 3 pm. Plan B is we board the ship in Naples the next day if we are flight delayed 🙄

When I am on Sun Princess this Saturday I will ask my wife to check what the shop's exact policy is regarding such an occurrence.

May I ask what the difference is between a Long Island and a Beverley Hills Ice tea?

Well the English weather can do what it likes from next Saturday and two weeks beyond. i will be aboard Sun Princess repeating the Itinerary we did on Regal Princess back in 2022, except Kotor has been dropped! Can’t wait to be on a new ship. I will post some stuff on CC and just piggy back someone else’s thread like I did with yours last time😉 I hope you got home OK?

Welcome back to my dreary homeland Ken. You missed the heatwave we had here in SE England these last five days. That was our summer until next year😂. Thoroughly enjoyed your thread and I’m looking forward to doing the same itinerary on Sky next year thanks to you. Have a safe uneventful flight back home. All the best Peter

If the ships aren't important to you by comparison, I would just add that the food variety is bigger on Princess. RCL is much more fast food orientated and lacking in international dishes IMHO. I've never been a buffet fan but on RCL it was pretty awful.

We get those Wood Pigeons in our garden daily. They make a right racket in the early morning too!😖

DW regularly has Pimms with Soda water on our cruises. I don’t recall seeing it in cans though 🤔

On our two cruise visits to Stockholm in the summer the weather has been great. Helsinki and Tallinn too. Had it been bad I doubt I would have booked another Baltic cruise for 2025. I'm confident Ken you will get great weather shortly!🙏

Well, my Sun cruise starting 10th August has been completely ruined with the closure of Park 19. I was going to spend at least an hour of my cruise on the glide roller. Perhaps more if I thought it annoyed those luxuriating in the Sanctuary below. Now what am I going to do instead? I'll use it going to customer services and demand compensation! 😉

Morning Ken I think your weather will continue to improve as you sail to Stockholm. The sail through the archipelago to Stockholm is on our list of the best things we did on a cruise. Enjoy Peter

I've just looked at the Santorini webcam this morning and there are currently seven cruise ships there. Blimey! OK, one of them is a smaller Windstar four master, but I've never witnessed so many there in a day.

Well ship lifts have worked fine for years despite ocean swells!
